Moving on

Chapter 1

It's early in the morning. You look on your alarm clock, it's 9:59 AM. You try to get that last minute of sleep but you fall out of bed."BAM".You laugh at yourself and get up. You notice your belly grumbling and you decide to go down for breakfast. As soon you get in the kitchen you see your parents and your little sister. Your little sister is crying and your parents are whispering about something but you can't hear it.

Parents POV:
Mom: "what are we gonna do?"
Dad: "I guess we'll have to move New Jersey as soon as possible"
Mom: "How do we tell y/n?"
Dad:"I guess we'll just have to tell her. She better know for what reason we're moving"

You see you're mom coming your way with red tearing eyes."What's wrong mom?", you ask. "Honey remember that we had to go to the hospital so much? And that lately your sister has been sick a lot?", "Yes, what's going on?", "Your sister has been diagnosed with a rare illness", she says with a sad voice."We have to move if we want your sister to get better". As soon your mom is done talking your father walks into the room and says:"That's right and we're moving, TOMORROW, to New Jersey" Your eyes start to tear up, you can't believe what you just heard."My sister sick? Moving? Tomorrow? New Jersey?". these thoughts fly by as a tear rolls down your face. "I'm sorry honey that you have to hear this all now, we know New Jersey is miles away from here but we have no choice" your mother says with a calming voice. You turn your back and run back upstairs to your room. The tears are flowing from your eyes and you decide to start packing for a distraction. When your done packing your mother enters your room and tells you they're sorry but they had no choice."Honey I know this is hard for you.. Maybe you can meet up with some friends to cheer up before we leave tomorrow". She leaves the room and you take your phone. You decide to text your BFF Olivia.

You:"Hey liv"

Olivia:"S'up gurll how ya doin ❤️?"

You:"I was wondering if you wanted to hang out today ? I have something to tell you 😔"

Olivia:"Of course! When? ❤️"

You:"At 3 at the park"

Olivia:"I'll be there Xoxo 😘"

~Later that day~

You and Olivia meet up at the park.
"Hey Liv" "Hey y/n so you had to tell me something?" "Um.. Yeah we're moving" "What?? Where are you moving to?" "We're moving to New Jersey", I could see the tears forming in Olivia's eyes."When are you guys leaving?", she asked with a sad tone in her voice. I told her we're leaving tomorrow and the reason why we're moving."I'm really sorry to hear that, i'm so sorry for you.. i totally understand as your best friend. Let's get yoghurt ice cream!" "Olivia?", I asked. "Will you promise to stay in touch?", she nodded, smiled and gave me a hug. I know she was crying..

Your POV:
I really had fun spending the rest of my time here with Olivia. She is a really supportive friend. She is someone who can understand everything and can make you happy no matter what! I'm sad we're already leaving tomorrow. I'd really love to spend more time here..

As i got home, most of our stuff was packed and ready to go. I was tired so I went to sleep since we're leaving early tomorrow in the morning.

The next day
It was around 2 AM in the morning when I needed to wake up. So i said my last goodbye to the house and popped into the car. I was hungry when we arrived at the airport so I bought something there to eat. It was time to bord on to the plane. Sure I was prepared for a 10-12 hour flight! GOODBYE BELGIUM AND HELLO NEW JERSEY ❤️
