This is a story about a girl. A normal 15 year old girl who has a normal family and a normal life. That's what everyone thinks. Everything about Katy Carson screams normal. Even her name. But the truth is Katy isn't normal at all, if anything she's the complete opposite. Katy River is bored, she wants to get away and she the world she's been dreaming of. This dream finally comes true, but there's a catch, there always is.

Cole Smith. A boy who every girl loves, for his flawless looks and clever way with words. Every girl, apart from Katy. Which, unlucky for him, is the girl he's fallen desperately in love with.

But Katy is a free spirit, she doesn't like to waste her time.
