My covered arms wrap around your torso, tightly, creating warmth for the both of us. Your arms stay rested at your side, tight against your hips.
I rest my chin atop your head, the teeth that line my lower jaw pressing against the top. I bring digits to set upon your head, tangling them in your locks.
As the rain pours around us, thick droplets smashing against the single roof of the Cantonese restaurant with only a couple of lights lit, I'm reminded of how much I love holding you. Holding you closely, so much as I forget the world around our dim bodies.
