I was just 17 when I joined the army. My mother was sad to say the least. My father proud to say I was his. Me happy to be away and see something new do something great with my life. It was after school let out and I was shipped off to boot camp. Fort Sill Oklahoma big new and so many new people. I was never the social type I would rather do what I had to and be done with it all. But as fate would have it I would never finish and graduate basic training like my fellow battle buddy's. I injured my shoulder and was left behind by my friends forced to make new ones every week. Then more and more people started to get left behind like me. We all became friends and started to get to know one another. I had an amazing friend she was in another bay and we only got to spend time together when there was nothing we could do. She was there for me to talk to and we were best friends and battle buddy's in a week. Her name wood this is all last names just how the military like it never knew her first name tell she was leaving to go home. But one day she left to go to the doctor and was sent to Charly company for the night. The next day so came back she had a new battle buddy. I did not know her name but she was so beautiful. But I would not let that get in the way of me doing as the rules stated. I could not like her the military looked down on that dating when in the service was not something you did in basic training. Your mind is on the task at hand passing and putting your all into being the best you can be. So I made it out that I hated her so that we would not get close. The first thing I said to that beautiful woman was that she was a bitch. I thought she would hate me and make it easy to stay away. I was wrong every day for 2 months she said I was her girlfriend. I said no every time even told her I was with someone so she would stop. I knew that if she continued I would give in and do whatever she wanted no matter what the cost. A beautiful woman can make anyone fall to there knees and do as they say. She had everyone in the palm of her hand but never seamed to care. All she ever did was ask me or tell me I was hers. I was scared she would be right if she did not stop soon.
