"shut up Liah , why did you call me Mel , i told you nobody calls me Mel , only he does " I say and point at the picture of my real father (Joe) he died two years ago in a car crash .
"You know he wasn't only your father , go downstairs mom is calling you " Liah walked out the room and slammed my door .
I gave up on the shirt I took a knife and began to cut "Mel...sorry I mean Princess " my mother says , her eyes widen as she sees me cutting my shirt .
" Princess!!!!" she shouts
"AMBER" I shout back
She comes close to me , and before she can slap me , i start laughing " I'm joking , sorry mom , I'm going down now " I say as I continue to laugh .
My mother walks out and i follow her , but something caught my attention , i turn to the picture of my dad smiling while holding my hand at my matric dance " Mel and Joe against the world " I whisper to myself then leave the room.
