Steve right after he said something he immediately regretted saying.
"I'm sorry, babe.."
"Shut it."
He got up and walked over to you.
"I got out of line, I'm sorry. I should've never-"
"Didn't you hear me? Shut it, Steve!"
You had never been this angry at him.
You had an argument about the fact that you wanted a baby, but Steve didn't want one (yet).
The funny (sarcasm) thing was, the reasons he gave for not wanting a child, were all about you: you were too young, you weren't ready for it, you had issues with your parents and that's why you want a baby this soon, and last but certainly not least: you were too damn emotional to get a baby, if it ever starts crying you'd by crying too and you wouldn't help it.
Yes, you were the emotional type. But not that emotional.
"(Y/n), can you please forget what I just said?"
"What exactly, Steve? You said multiple things.."
You had tears streaming down your face.
"I'm sorry, everything."
"I want you to leave, Steve. I can't do this now, thanks to you."
And with that he stood up, guilt all over his face, but knowing that if you needed your space, he should give it.
