Unsaid Things
-by Deveanne Gail
She stared at her reflection in the morning,
Flashes of painful truths that she faced in the night,
What else could she do instead of mourning,
She had no strength left to fight.
She has come a long way,
Eachtime thinking that everything else would be fine,
She forces a sad smile everyday,
And blames the very cruel time.
When she looks at her state,
It depresses her even more,
Her life that she's now grown to hate,
Leaves her fragile and sore.
'What am I even doing here?'
She can't help but question,
'Why is everything so unclear?'
Whatever she does, she'll never draw a conclusion.
How lucky are those who've been living here forever,
Unlike her, who just wants is a place she could call her own,
No. They can't understand the pain of leaving, never,
Now that she's come to realize, she's here, all alone.
She just wants this phase to be over,
Maybe she just over thinks,
Her self esteem which was once very high, has gone lower and lower,
Her head is clouded with these Unsaid Things.
