I don't know what's gotten into me
When I decided to let you go
I know that I will be hurt
But there's nothing I can do
You're not happy with me anymore
Though you kept saying that you are
I have known it for myself
That you're so close yet so far
There's somebody that you love
And I'm aware she's not me
She'd been with you when I left
She had lessen your agony
I'm full of pain and sorrow
But I know that you'll be happy with her
Just don't mind me and leave
Go and chase your forever
I know I'll be in deep agony
But I'll also continue to live
I'll be trying to move on
And be thankful for what you give
You let me believe in love
Though it has cause me pain then
I'm still thankful to experience it
And I'll try to love someone again
It is already time to let go of you
To let go of our memories together
It may hurt in the process
But I accept that I am not your forever
I may cry every night
I'll be obviously upset
But I'm happy to finally let you go
Something that I will never regret
It's so hard to let go of someone you promised forever with.
Its so hard to know that its your fault in the first place that he's gone but there's nothing you can do to change it.
