Hi guys! (waves enthusiastically)

Welcome to my advice column: Arenelle's Advice. My name is Arenelle (but you guys have probably already worked that out haha) and I'm a teenager who loves helping other teenagers with their problems. I also love writing so I figured: what better way to combine two of the things I am most passionate about? An advice column, of course!

An advice column is kind of self-explanatory so I don't think I need to elaborate on that. Anyway, feel free to post on my message board, comment or private message me your questions or problems. I'd be more than happy to help. If you are worried about privacy and wish to stay anonymous, then just give me another name. You can ask me anything about school life, peer pressure, crushes, depression, family, life in general... I'm the girl to ask x

I also love reading stories by undiscovered authors so if you would like me to read your stories or critique, comment below or message me :)

MY CREDENTIALS

1) I study law at uni, debate and moot (basically oral presentations of a legal issue or problem against an opposing counsel and before a judge) so I'm very determined about achieving an positive outcome for my "clients" (aka my readers - YOU!) I wish to become a solicitor in the future, where I basically give legal advice to clients so this is a perfect opportunity for me to hone my skills.

2) I write articles involving community matters, charities, fundraisers and the environment for my school newsletter. I am involved in all the events I write about so I'm very passionate about volunteering, the environment and helping people.

3) I play a bit of a fairy godmother role at school and have successfully organised many promposals, gotten several couples together, many of which have been long term relationships (one of which is FOUR years and counting!) In addition to this, I've been a negotiator since I was little (I guess that's what you get from living with brothers and sisters haha) and have repaired countless friendships (countless because I may or may not be bad at math...hehe.)

4) I belong to several cliques and am an all-rounder. Mind you, I'm not super Einstein smart, a music prodigy or a sport superstar. I'm just plain old, average me - and that's the way I like it. My friends are all from different cliques, social statuses and ethnic backgrounds so I've had a bit of an insight into the world beyond the one I see with my own eyes.

5) I am a 17 year old teenager going through the same things you are. I've had my heart broken, I've been rejected, rejected others, I've confessed my feelings to my crush, I've aced subjects, failed others, etc.There are so many mistakes that I have made, regretted yet learnt so much from. Hopefully, with my advice, you won't make the errors I did!

I really hope my advice helps all of you guys and that you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it (which was a LOT haha).
