I woke up to screaming and pulled the pillow over my head.
"Oh my god would you just wake her up!!!" sounded like Janice.
"God dammit fine!" hmm sounded like Jacob. What are they doing here? And then I heard stomping up the stairs. I pretend to be asleep but its too late. "Adri I know you are awake so get up."
"Ughh fine" I wake up and notice that Jacob is sitting on my bed only a couple of inches away from me. I stare at his profile. Brown shaggy hair that looks adorable on him. I know he has abs since I saw them when we went swimming one day and those gorgeous green eyes of his. My eyes drop down to his lips. Oh how kissa- holy shit was I just checking out one of my best friends?
"Earth to Adrienna." his voice makes me snap out of my daydream and I immediately jump up from the bed. He smirks and looks at me with amusement in his eyes. "Adrienna, were you checking out your best friend?" I could tell he was trying to hold back his laugh. I grab the pillow that is closet to me and hit him with it.
"I was not!" I yell while still hitting him.
He gasps and then I see a murderous look in his eyes. I freak out and drop the pillow. He immediately grabs the pillow next to him and starts hitting me. I grab my own and hit him also. For five minutes we are just running around the room hitting each other with pillows like little five year old girls. I fall onto the bed and he falls down next to me. We are laying next to each laughing and trying to catch our breath. He turns and faces me his hand on the side of his head with his elbow on the bed. I turn around and face him.
"You're lucky you aren't dead right now," he grinned at me.
"Whatever," I said and I rolled my eyes. I could feel his gaze on me. I look at him in the eyes and there is a comfortable silence between us. He smiles and I smile back. I piece of my hair drops in front of my face, but before I could pull it back, Jacob pulls it back for me. But he doesn't move his hand from my face and I don't even try to make him move it. I see his gaze drop down to my lips and I blush lightly. He chuckles and starts to lean in. Our lips were about to brush against each other, but then we were interrupted by angry footsteps from Janice heading towards the bedroom. I run and sit on the desk and start talking to Jacob about the latest book I read.
"Oh my god! It couldn't take this long to get her out of bed! You guys are just sitting hear having a casual conversation while I am freaking out!!" she shrieks and lays down on her stomach on the bed burying her face into the pillow.
I ignored everything she was saying and went into a deep thought of what was about to happen before she came barging in.
"Adrienna!!! Omg! What is wrong with you two today!?" she glares at the both of us.
"Jeez sorry," I reply whispering. "Mind going out so I can change?" I ask as I walked towards the closet.
"Yeah, whatever. Just hurry up," and then they walked out.
I quickly grabbed my lace top, with dark blue jeans, paired with a pair of combat boots and headed out.
"Okay so first of you can't like her," I heard Janice tell Jacob. I decide to stay inside so I can hear their conversation.
"Why not?" Jacob asks.
"Because she is your best friend idiot!" yelled Janice. I figured this was the right time to walk out.
"Um guys, ready?"
"Yeah let's go," said Jacob. He sounded kind of angry.
We first went to Edwards house to pick him up. Then we went to the mall. The girls and boys split up. Janice and I first went to Wet Seal. We both found floral dresses and a new pair of jeans and shoes. We payed for our clothes and went of to find the boys.
"Dude but you seriously like Adrienna?" I heard Edward ask. I gasp and blush.
"Oh my god. This way so we can eavesdrop on them." Whispers Janice as she pulled me behind a game. We kept quiet and listened closely.
"What? Is there a law that I can't?" Jacob replied quite harshly back.
"Just remember to use protection," Ed said with a laugh.
"Dude seriously? And of course I will use protection dipshit."
"I'd rather die then have sex with Adrienna."
"Ew!!!!" shrieked Janice and she started jumping up and down making the boys notice us.
"What the hell??" Yelled Jacob. His green eyes glaring into my dark brown ones. "Where you spying on us?!?"
"Ha. NO. There was a fricking spider on me!!!" Shrieks Janice who was shaking her head to see if the spider was there. Its hard to hold your laugh in a situation like this, so I started laughing like a donkey and sat on the floor trying to catch my breath.
"Oh my god.." I laugh more. "Did you see your face?" Everyone stares at me for a second and then they also start laughing.
We all hang out more and then eventually and then we all go outside to wait to be picked up. Soon it was only me and Jacob left.
"Soo...today was fun." Jacob says, sounding nervous.
"Haha yeah," suddenly I tense up too. Oh no...I think I'm falling for my best friend.
We both just stare out into the parking lot and see that we have a small view of the sub setting. I feel something brush my hand and I look down and see Jacob's hand. I blush and thank god that it is dark. His whole hand finds mine and we intertwine our fingers together. Out of the corner of my right eye I see him smile. I smile also.
