It WAS A Game

Late!!!

Marinette's POV
    I woke up after dreaming of how I reacted to when Adrien smiled at me and started to feel embarrassed, I mean, what kind of girl would act the way I do? I decided that I would focus on myself so that I would only fall in love once I am able to live my own life.

   "Tikki.....Tikki.....Tikki!" I called as she jumped off my pillow in surprise.

   "Marinette, you're awake early?! It must be a miracle," she says in a surprised tone.

   "Tikki.... I have something to tell you."

   "Marinette? What's wrong?"

   "As of today, I, Marinette Dupain-Cheng, will no longer crush on Adrien Agreste."

   "WHAT!?!?!"

   "Tikki, I realized that if I want to make my dreams a reality and make my parents proud I would have to focus on that."

   "Aww, Mari....I'm happy for you and support your decision but there's a problem."

   "What?"

   "YOU'RE LATE FOR SCHOOL!!!!!"

Alya's POV
   At lunch I saw Adrien and Nino looking for seats and called them over to Mari and I's table.

   "Hey, Alya. Hey, Marinette," Adrien and Nino said as they sat down across from us. Nino across from me and Blondie across from Mari. I'm actually surprised she hasn't even bat an eye let alone blush.

   "Hey, Adrien. Hey, Nino," she said casually, not even looking up from the book she was reading.

   It took me a few minutes to process the fact that Marinette didn't stutter and I'm pretty sure that from the surprised expressions, Adrien and Nino were just as surprised as me.

   But before we could ask her about it, she simply said "Alya? Can I talk to you a minute?" Putting her book down, then looked at the guys "Don't worry, we won't be long."

   And she explained everything. So as a way to celebrate I told her we should have a sleepover and she agreed. Although I may have left out one tiny detail. And went on to tell the guys about the sleepover and Adrien offered to host it at his place. Thankfully, he and his father became closer and now his father is happy with his friends and sleepovers and , well, in short he's not as strict anymore.
