In A Flash // Barry Allen

Prologue

B.A POV:

I walked into my lab still holding the tissue under my nose to prevent the blood from dripping onto the floor not as if it wasn't dirty I thought making me chuckle. I went over to my computer and went onto the Central City News Channel.

"From what we have heard the storm will not affect the Particular Accelerator at all..." I droned the rest out as my phone started ringing. I turned it on and the picture of Lucy Swan my best friend came up.

"Hey Lucy. What are you doing?" I ask her as I put the news channel on mute for now.

"Hello to you to Barry. Also I'm talking to you, idiot. But I called because apparently you met a girl in Starling!" Lucy told me over the phone.

"How did you know about, Felicity!?" I asked confused. Like how does she know about her when I haven't said a word.

"I saw you earlier. You were far to happier than usual. Wait- Felicity is a cute name. Is she a blonde?" She asks me. I can practically see her raise her eyebrows in my mind.

"Do not crack one of those jokes about blondes being stupid or gingers being soulless and brunettes being perfect" I told her. "Also she's a blonde and very smart" I added.

"Okay. Jeez I won't" She spoke through the phone in a defensive tone. "Hurry up with your work. I wanna see the particular accelerator survive the storm" Lucy said over the phone.

"Don't worry I will be there in a flash" I told her smiling. I ended the phone call and un-muted the news. It caught my attention right away.

"We are hearing there has been a malfunction" She told us but then it went all staticky and went black. I looked up and saw S.T.A.R labs blow up in front of my eyes sending what looked like a wave of energy around.

I quickly went over to my roof window that was open and grabbed the chain to close it. But right then the liquids I had on the shelves started to float. Then I looked up as I heard a loud noise and saw a bright light and everything went black...

L.S POV:

I watched as star labs exploded from my window. I saw a bolt of lightning strike a building. Central City Police department. The forensics lab. Where Barry was.

I quickly grabbed my phone and pressed his contact and the call button. He better answer and be okay. Hopefully he left the room by then.

After he didn't answer I ran out of my apartment that was next to Barry's and ran outside towards me car.

I got in quickly and turned on the car not caring about my seat belt and I sped of onto the main street. Five minutes later I was parked in front of CCPD. I ran out of my car into the building.

I saw Iris and Joe talking together. I ran up to them. "Have you seen Barry? Did he leave?" I asked hoping he left and just turned of his phone.

"No he is in his lab" Iris told me confusedly. I felt panic arouse within me. No no no.

"A bolt of lightning struck his office!" I practically yelled. A bunch of people turned their eyes wide. Captain Singh, Joe and Iris followed me as I ran to Barry's lab.

When I walked in I saw Barry lying unconscious on top of a fallen black shelf. I noticed a tiny streak of orange energy flow through his hand but I ignored it as I ran over to him

I cupped his face with my hands as I cried and Captain Singh called a ambulance. "Barry talk to me" I sobbed as Joe hugged Iris as she cried.
