Elemental Quest The Mark of the Amulet

Prologue

"Ah" I screamed as I woke up jumping of my bed to see my arms engulfed in flames.

"Robbie Steward you are the next in line to wield the Amber Ruby amulet" said a voice from the flames.

"Who said that?" I asked looking  into the flames as the image of an amulet began to form in the  flames "I am the Amber Ruby amulet, your father has been captured by the rot, you have to gather the other elements and save your master and you will be sent on missions to save nature from the rot." it said "What about my father?" I asked "He will be found." It said then the flames died down before I could ask another question the searing pain subsided.

I looked at my arms there were two marks on each wrist on the right an amulet the Amber Ruby amulet I thought on the other a map as I stood up it spun as if it was finding its bearings then it showed two golden feet with a red highlight leading forward.

I went to the kitchen where my mum was, I told her every thing that happened she gave out a heartbroken sigh "Your father had callings like this until he disappeared" She said "I'm so sorry mum" I said "Nevermind that you have to start packing maybe there is a chance you will find your dad." She wiped her tears from her cheeks I knew that was a big if the amulet told me that he was captured not lost but knowing my dad he has escaped and is looking for a way back but without the amulet I knew we had to do find him but I would need help we finished packing up I looked into the bag and saw alot if clothes I looked at my mum with a confused look on my face "Your dad always came back from his trips with burnt clothes so I figured you would need the extra clothes I searched deeper into the bag I saw a Ziploc filled with money different types of money there was another Ziploc filled with my sixteenth birthday cake I forgot to day was my birthday I looked at my mum again and I saw a tear run down her cheek I zipped up the bag and hung it on may shoulders it felt extremely light we walked outside to the stables I saddled my horse Runner got on its back "You ready for a ride" I asked him and he neighed in approval.

We rode of into the sun directed by my map I looked back at my mum she smiled and that was the thing I saw as the horse went on full speed and I turned forward.
