Sweet Little Beauty
Such a sweet little thing,
Why does she cry?
The tears fall down her cheek,
I can’t help but ask why?
Is her heart burdened,
Of things from her past?
Or does she cry,
Because nothing lasts?
Seeing her beautiful face,
Twisted in tears,
Makes me want to know her,
And wipe away her fears.
How can I help her,
To find the peace she needs,
For when I see her,
I see an angel minus the wings.
My sweet little beauty,
I want to hold her tight,
Protect her from the worlds evils,
Until she’s strong enough to fight.
