*First day of freshman year*

*BEEP*

*BEEP*

*BEEP*

I slowly sit up as I hear my alarm clock and groan. I reach over and hit the snooze botton and snuggle back into my pillow. And that's when I feel the ice water. I screech and roll off the side of my bed and and land on the floor with a thunk. I grown again and open my eyes blinking, slowly getting use to the light that is now streaming threw my now open curtains.

I look up and see my best friend with a huge smile shoving her phone in my face excitedly. "Look, look, look." She shouts.

"I have to get ready for school", I moan. Not that I actuallly want to go to school I've been bullied since middle school when my old best friend Lydia became popular she kind of just, turned everyone against me.

"But look", Star shouted again "Your book's hit it big!"

"WHAT", I shouted suddenly awake I grabbed the phone from her hand and scrolled threw my website. It was loaded.

I started to write a diary in the form of fiction books and Star was telling me how good they are and now she is like my manager. She turns the stories I wright into my publisher.

Now on my books the authors name is written as Camilla Irene Derrikson but everybody at school knew me as Irene Derik and nobody suspected a thing. And it is the same thing at the high school I am going to start at. Only my immediate family and my best friend Star and my publisher know who I am.

"This is amazing", I yell with a big smile on my face. My best friend an I begin to squeal. I glance at my alarm clock and look back towards Star, then do a double take. I have thirty minutes to get ready for school. "I gotta get ready for school", I yell.

"Then go", Star squealed as she was already ready.

I took a quick shower and blowed dry my hair which took about ten minutes considering my hair goes down to right below my butt. I let it air dry. I put on some pink lipstick, mascara, and a little bit of foundation and made my way to my closet.

I slipped on my black skater skirt and my crop top that says, "Me? Sarcastic? Never." I then slipped on my black and white converse and grabbed my leather backpack.

I got into Star's car and we drove off.

When we arrived at school we hopped out of the car. I already know my way around here because my older brother went hear last year and he also graduated last year.

We walked threw the doors and Star and I headed towards our lockers. When I opened mine I was drenched with paint. I closed my eyes and shut my locker slowly shaking the paint off my hands to cover my eyes.

When I turned to face Star she already had a towel ready for me but neither of has were suprised. We both figured the bullying would continue from middle school to Highschool.

When I turned around everybody was laughing and taking pictures. Lydia was of course standing at the front with a boy I don't recognize. He has dirty blond hair, bright blue eyes, a defined jaw, and he stood at about 6"1. He was wearing jeans, an ivory shirt, and a leather jacket.

He was laughing along with the others but I could tell he didn't want too. He had it in his eyes. Star grabbed my hand and pulled me outside. We  hopped into Star's car and drove off.

"Well that went better than I thought it would", I state with a small smile on my face.

"Definitely", Star says with a straight face. Then we both bursted out laughing.
