Jonah's little sister

Chapter 6

Zach's POV

     I'm so nervous. I'm about to ask Jonah if I can date his sister. I see him and go up to him.

     "Hey, Jonah, can I talk to you for a second?" I ask nervously.

     "Sure." He says. We go into the kitchen and I take a deep breath.

     "Jonah, I would like your permission to date Beth." I say bluntly. He looks at me stunned.

     "Zach, you're like a brother to me, I can think of nobody better to be with my sister than you." I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. "But if you break her heart I'll break you." He added.

     "I won't trust me." I respond a little nervous. "Beth! He said yes!" I yell.

     "Oh thank God!" I hear.

Beth's POV

     "Beth! He said yes!" I hear Zach yell.

     "Oh thank God!" I yell rushing past Daniel. I run into the house and jump into Zach's arms. He hugs me and sets me down. Then I grab him and kiss him, not noticing Jonah was there.

"You guys are already dating aren't you?" Jonah asks.

"RUN" I yell. Zach and I run out of the house with Jonah right behind us. We jump into my car and speed away. "Where should I go?" I ask. "He knows where I live."

"We can go to my friend Logan's apartment. He will probably let us stay there for a night or two." He tells me.

"Okay, tell me where to go." I respond. A few minutes later we get to an apartment building. Before we go upstairs Zach pulls me towards him.

"Beth, before we go ask if we can stay with him, I need to ask you something." He tells me seriously.

"Sure, anything." I reply.

"Beth, I haven't known you long, but I really like you. And I wanted to ask you if you would be my girlfriend. I know it's fast but-" I kiss him before he can finish. "So is that a yes?" He asks.

"That's a hell yes." I respond. He kisses me again then we go up to a door and knock.

"Come in!" We hear someone yell. We walk in and I scream.

"Logan Paul? Your 'friend Logan' is Logan Paul?" I ask Zach excitedly.

"So I'm assuming you're a fan?" He asks me laughing.

"Zach!" Logan yells. "What are you doing here?"

"Can I stay here for a day or two?" He asks.

"Sure! But why? And who is this?" He asks.

"Logan this is Beth, my girlfriend." He tells Logan.

"Hi! Nice to meet you! I'm a big fan." I tell him holding out my hand for a handshake.

"Put that away." He tells me pulling me in for a hug. "So you two are dating huh?" He asks.

"Yeah." We both reply.

"How did you guys meet?" He asks.

"I'm Jonah's little sister." I tell him. He stares at me. "What?" I ask.

     "Jonah knows you're dating, right?" He asks.

"Well, we met before Jonah introduced us and we've been on two or three dates, but Zach asked Jonah if we could go out today and he said yes, then I kissed Zach and he found out we've been dating and then we started running and he came after us so we came here." I told him.

"Don't you think he'll look for you here?" He asked us. Just then there was a knock at the door.

"Logan, if that's him don't tell him we're here." Zach said. We went and hid while Logan answered the door.

     "Hey Jonah, what's up?" He said casually.

     "They're here aren't they?" He said storming in Logan's apartment. First he went to Logan's room and looked around. When he came out Zach and I ran in to Logan's room and hid in the closet behind some coats because Jonah had already looked there. After a while Logan came in and told us Jonah had already left.

     We came out and thanked Logan for helping us. Just then, his door burst open.

     "I KNEW IT!" Jonah yelled. Then he started chasing Zach around. After 20 minutes of them running around I jumped in between Zach and Jonah.

     "STOP IT!" I screamed. "Jonah I'm sorry we didn't tell you about this before, but I really like him and we already had plans to go out before you even introduced us." I told him.

     "What?" He asked confused.

     "We met the day before at Starbucks." I told him.

     "Look I don't have anything against you two dating, my problem is you guys were sneaking around and didn't tell anyone." Jonah told me.

     "Actually Daniel knew." Zach said. I turned around and looked at him with wide eyes.

     "What?!" Jonah yelled.

     "Dude we were in the clear." I told him. Then Jonah started chasing Zach again. "Okay stop it!" I yell. "I'm getting tired of this."

     "You told Daniel before you told me?" Jonah asked.

     "We did not tell Daniel first, he saw us kissing." Zach said calmly.

     "Jonah please don't freakout." I tell him. "But I threatened him if he told you before we did."

     "How did you threaten Daniel?" He asks.

     "I may have told a little lie about being a black belt." I almost whisper.

     "You told him you're a black belt?" He asks laughing.

     "Maybe." I respond.

     "I love you Bethy but seriously? A black belt?" He says.

     "So are we good?" Zach asks.

     "Yeah we're good." Jonah replies.

     Later after the argument got worked out we went back to the Why Don't We house.

     "Hey guys can you come in here? I need to tell you something." Zach yells. All the boys come down.

     "What's up?" Corbyn asks.

     "I want you to meet my girlfriend." He tells them. He grabs my hand and we smile at each other.

     "You guys are dating?" Jack asks.

     "Good! You're finally telling people." Daniel says relieved.

     "You knew and didn't tell us?" Corbyn asked.

     "She threatened me." He says defending himself.

     After that Zach pulled me in for a kiss.

     "Get a room!" Daniel said.
