As she lie in her bed, thinking over her life, she thinks of Howard Stark and their friendship. She dearly misses him and was glad to hear he finally settled down, being called aunt Peggy by his son was very touchy for her.
Then she thinks of all the work she did, from shield to working in the army during the war.
Oh how she loved working in the army. Her favorite part of the day was proving ever arrogant, stuck up male who doubted her wrong.
She wouldn't change a thing.
She knows her time has come, and she's ready to go, she's lived and loved.
