She runs back inside to put her shirt on, and instead of going to her next class, she runs home to tell her parents. She makes her way home without any trouble, she forwarded straight to her mother and explains everything that happened. As she waits for a reply to help her out, all her mother says back is, "Their just playing with you, it's fine honey." Caroline doesn't take the comment well. Caroline runs to her room, crying, and all she can do is hope for a better day tomorrow, so she goes to sleep early. It's finally morning and Caroline is ready for school, as she begins walking to school, a car pulls up next to her and the people inside begin to throw trash at her and call her names. They leave as soon as they saw a tear fall from her eye. She then began to wonder if she should go to school anyway or just go home, but she makes the decision to go to school.
