"Mom! Dad, look what I drew"
It was the same all over the world, from the USA, to Korea.
Every child was saying the same few words, drawing the same few drawings.
"That looks very nice dear"
At first, nobody paid really any attention.
It wasn't until the five year olds, and even younger, started drawing masterpieces, art that not even the most talented art its could achieve, did the parents and guardians start paying attention.
"Sweetheart, don't you want to draw anything else?"
"No"
"Honey, who drew this?"
"I did"
The parents were starting to get worried.
No way a toddler could draw such quality art.
Maybe there was a stranger breaking and entering...?
Security cameras and such started selling out Fast.
There was nobody on them, nobody breaking and entering.
But the children were still drawing really well.
Eventually, the world went into chaos.
"Don't you see? The children are trying to tell us something!"
"You fool, they're probably possessed! Call an exorcist!"
"You're all dumb, the world is CLEARLY ending"
It was insane. Riots were starting, infamous cults started surfacing...
Humanity was a mess.
And the children? They were still steady drawing. The number racked up.
10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80
Every child had 90 drawings now.
90 drawings of the same thing.
"STOP DRAWING THAT DAMNED PICTURE!"
"I can't"
The drawing depicted 2 suns and 16 planets.
A whole new solar system.
Scientists went absolutely mad trying to find it.
"Launch a middle into space!"
"Are you insane?!"
The children were calm
The parents... were not.
To add to the panic, as soon as a child (teen actually) turned 20, their eyes turned a dull green color, making them look emotionless. All teens turned adults had the same fashion sense, and they all talked of "escaping what this world is going to become"
If only.... if only we had listened.
