"adeline," ethan said throwing a goldfish in my face, waking me from my day dream.

"sorry. i was up all night studying for the calc exam," i rolled my eyes.

"hey trevor, bang bang," i heard boy laugh.

i was intrigued. bang bang?

""they'll regret it. regret what they did to us. tomorrow," trevor had said with a smirk

my eyes widened.

"e, did u hear them," i asked, color drained from my face.

"hear who?" ethan said, looking at me concerned.

"did you fucking hear them ethan," i said in a whisper-yell.

"did i fucking hear who?" ethan mimicked me.

i explained what had happened to ethan.

"we should report them," ethan said

"what if it's a misunderstanding?" i asked. i didn't want to accuse someone of something.

"lets just be safe," he smiled

"ok," i sighed

we walked to the office and asked to see mr. howard, our vice principal.

the secretary brought us to his office and let us in.

"hey guys! what brings you here?" he said in a preppy voice.

"i want to report something," i said, "i think there's going to be a school shooting tomorrow."

"we will investigate. thank you ms. hunter and mr. dolan."

we left the office.

"see, all fine," ethan said.

"yea," i let out a small smile.

"i gotta go to gym," ethan kissed my forehead.

"love u," he said

"love u too," i sighed
