"Can you escort me to meet my new found boyfriend?" my bestie, Adjoa said beaming at me. Ever since her last boyfriend cheated on her, she didn't want to get involved with anyone so I was glad she was in love.
"Duh.." I said wearing my sneakers.
We sat in her car and Ebony's song Sponsor was playing. We sang along happily. We neared the mall, where her boyfriend was waiting. She parked and we walked to KFC where I saw him. He was smiling at us and my heart melted. He wore a tight polo T-shirt that showed his muscles. He was excited specimen. We reached his table and that's where everything hit me. "Naa meet my boyfriend Philip" I smiled nervously at him as he stretched his hand out for me to shake. I felt a tingling sensation in my hand and I quickly pulled away.
