First day of school

Jasmine's POV
I walked up to the school. It was quite big. Almost 16 ft high to be exact. This was my first day at this new school. I'd moved a few weeks before to this new district. I wasn't super ready for the first day of high school, but I was ready enough. I walked inside. It was crowded. There were so many students roaming the halls. They were either talking to each other in groups, on their phones, or just collecting their stuff at their lockers.

I hadn't made any friends yet of course cause this was a new school and my first day. Though I did have one friend from my old school. Emma. She moved to this district too and I was happy that I was at least going to have one friend here. I set my bag down in my locker and grab a couple books. I walked down the hall and spotted Emma. I ran up to her and hugged her. We chatted for a bit until it was time for class.

Harley's POV
I walked into the school late. People were already in class and there were only a few students in the halls. I'd stayed up late the day before trying to come up with a new melody for my new song. I still didn't make one and failed to at least right 3 lines of lyrics as well. So of course I go to sleep late and wake up feeling like crap. I tried to come to school on time but obviously I'm too late. I set down my stuff in my locker and go find my class.
Right as I walked in I surveyed the class. My eyes wandered all around the room until they finally landed on one girl.

She was beautiful. My eyes couldn't move off her. She had dark chocolate hair that went into a braid and laid on her shoulder, and ocean blue eyes. She wore a pair of blacked brimmed glasses and had of few freckles scattered around her face. She seemed a bit like an angel. Her eyes looked over to me and her gaze locked with mine. Now I definitely couldn't look away. Until of course the teacher cleared her throat and signalled me towards a chair to sit down. Though the seat she signalled to was the seat right next to her. And it happened to be the only seat left in the whole class. I looked down and walked towards the seat and sat down. I tried to avert my eyes from her. Its hard to look away from such beauty, and her hands are so close to mine. Her elbow almost touching mine.
I wonder how it'd be to date a girl like her.

Back to Jasmine's POV
The teacher hands out an assignment to us. I start to work right away answering all the questions easily.
Though the girl sitting next to me seemed so.......peculiar. She looked interesting and she kept looking over at me. She seems curious about me in a way. I wonder why? Every so often her eyes averted to me and then back to her paper. I started to do the same after a while. Her hair was a fawn color with a hint of ginger, kinda like the color of the leaves in autumn, but it was curly and wavy. It laid perfectly on her shoulders. Her eyes looked like the color of bark on a tree or small almonds. She was wearing a leather jacket and a white v-neck.

My eyes widened as I noticed what I was starring at. I looked away quickly. Come on Jass! Focus on your work! Stop looking at her! All you care about is your work and grades! ..........right? I bit my lip at the thought. Is that really all I do and think of? I kept working on the assignment as the thought lingered in my head.
