Beaches are beautiful , warm, and sandy. The sand carries the shells that kids, adults, people like to pick up and collect for themselves or for other people. Shells come in different colors, shapes, and sizes. Different stories too. Shells are just objects used decorated make things prettier than they look. But the shells some people carry are used to hide from the world we call cruel. Shells aren't just pretty objects but objects that cover up what's on somebody's insides. Shells are used to cover our body's from the harsh words people use to judge us. Shells are our protection no or worse enemy. It's our enemy because it keeps us from being who we are. Shells may be pretty but they are very dark. Dark enough to hide your face with a fake smile. Dark enough to say "I'm fine" when in reality I'm crying for help. Shells.
