It was a cold morning in class, the second day of school last year. He was sitting behind me but I didn't know he was there.
Then a tap on my shoulder alerted me of his presence. I turned to look at him and gave a smile and he returned it making my stomach flutter.
We talked for the rest of the class, then when it was time to go we exchanged Snapchat usernames and went our separate ways.
Later that night I got a text on Snapchat
Hey :)
Was all it said I replied and we hit it off from there.
Then the next day we met up before school and he gave me a hug .
"Hey " he said , I looked up and he connected his lips to mine.
It seemed like butterflies swarmed in my stomach.
Like everything was on fire because damn did it feel hot around us.
Then friendship turned into more.. and we were in a relationship. I was having the time of my life not knowing that it was all a game for him.
I didn't know that he would lie to me soon. I didn't know that my first love would end up to be a total disaster.
By the end of the third month he said he was going to leave. So we broke up.
Then the next day at school .. he was there.
Also the next and the next and the next .. and he never left.
By the end of the third week he had a new girlfriend.
I realized that he was toxic I realized that all the fun was just for him. I realized that everything was fake and that he was using her.
That devastated me .. it tore me up and made me feel pain. For the thousandth time in my life.
I was broken even more and I didn't know what to do .. I was lost and alone.
I still had hope though .. I had hope that it would get better.
