Beep. Beep. Beep. "SHUT UP" I screamed at my alarm clock. I swung my legs out from under the covers and sat on the edge of the bed staring at my feet. It was Monday and I was so not ready for school. I quickly got up and walked to the bathroom to do my daily routine. Take a shower, brush my teeth, blow dry, brush, and curl my long blonde hair. Do my daily makeup of foundation, contour, eyebrows, eyeshadow, and can't forget my blush. I looked at the time "CRAP!! I'm gonna be late!" I quickly put on a crop top and some high wastes jeans and put on my vans, I grabbed my penny board and rode to school. School was only about 5 minutes away, I looked down at my phone to check the time 7:30. Perfect I have 15 minutes. I couldn't help but look around at the beautiful sight of sunny California, I was lucky; you could see the mountains in the back ground and the suns rays peeking over them, making the sky a golden yellow with purples and pinks. I finally got to school and ran to my locker to get my stuff. I then noticed someone different, I girl with light brown skin and her hair in long box braids. I grabbed my stuff and walked over to her. "Hi my name is Ashlyn but you can call me ash" "awesome, my name is Jordan you can call me jo jo" she replied. We exchanged numbers and schedules, turns out we have 2,4,5,7th together. This was the beginning of a wonderful friendship.
