I had gotten used to travel around via the tube or by walking. It was a luxury that I could not do with Zayn around. With the boys, we usually drove to our destinations. Since there were six of us, Jenson had sort of upgraded the car to a MPV.

The clock tower struck one, causing me to hasten my footsteps. Shit. I was supposed to meet the guys at Nandos at one. And it was nowhere in sight.

Expected, my phone rang out. The old Carmina ringtone had been replaced by Zayn’s singing of the Korean song. He had specially done a remake for me to record it so that I could put it as a ringtone. His grinning face popped up on my screen before I hit the answer button.

“I’m almost there,” I said before he spoke up.

“Where?”

“Uh…” I looked around me.

“Are you lost again?” he groaned.

Actual fact was – I had been getting lost so many times that I lost count myself.

“I’m pretty sure it’s somewhere around…”

I could imagine him rolling his eyes.

“Okay, get here soon.”

“Tell her, we are not waiting for her!” I heard Louis’ voice rang out in the background.

“Shuddup,” Zayn rebuked.

“Ah… I see it!” I shouted as the familiar signboard came into view.

“I see you too,” he waved madly at me from within the restaurant.

“I made it here in one piece,” I giggled as I plunged into the seat next to Zayn.

“Congratulations,” Harry smirked.

“How was recording?” I ignored Harry and continued talking to Zayn.

He shrugged, “Nothing much done this morning.”

“Who screw up this time?” I laughed.

“Him,” four fingers started pointing at Zayn.

“Whoa,” I laughed. “What happened?”

“I’m just not getting the harmonization,” he grumbled.

“I don’t understand it,” Niall said. “Pat’s like playing it forever but you still can’t get it.”

“Why don’t you try it?” Zayn growled.

“I would if I can,” Niall rolled his eyes. “But my voice is not suitable for that range.”

“He’s just tired from all those recording,” I said with a smile as I cuddled close.

“Don’t try making up excuses for him,” Niall laughed.

“So,” Liam said. “Are you ready for the weekend?”

“What should I be expecting?” I asked.

“Who knows?” Liam chuckled. “Ask your man.”

I turned to Zayn.

“No,” he laughed. “Don’t ask. It’s a surprise.” Then he gave me a kiss on the lips.

“Okay,” I chuckled. “Where’s Ellie?”

“She’s off to do some errands,” Louis replied.
