Finally, I was driving out of the parking lot at 5:15pm. I needed to rush home to change and pick up Joya. I was thankful there were only a few stop lights between the shop and the apartment as I drove 90. Arriving home, I found Joya finishing her look. She was wearing a beautiful strapless hi-low dress, the bodice was white with sequence and the bottom was mint green with tiny white polka dots. She had on her favorite pair of nude ankle boots. She put on a gold shiny head band and tucked her charcoal black hair into it until it was all off her neck. She looked like a Grecian goddess. She put in some gold dangly chandelier earrings and a large gold tribal cuff on her arm. J had always been up on today's fashion. Me, I just wanted to wear whatever WAS comfortable. Unfortunately, tonight, I had to try a little harder.

I walked over behind her as she looked at herself in the mirror, wrapped my arms around her waist and began to kiss her neck. J and I have been each other's companions since we were teenagers. All we had was each other. We were both too scared to let anyone else in our lives or our hearts. We know, one day we might actually find each of our mates, but for now, it was only me and her. Despite what everyone believes, girls have sexual tension as they come of age too. So, to make it easier on the both of us, we just explored each other.

I only had a few minutes and I knew I didn't own anything fancy so I ran to J's room and searched through her closet. I jumped in the shower quickly after I had finally decided on a black, one sleeved, lace dress. It had a sweetheart neck and was solid everywhere except for the sleeve and the back; that part of the dress was sheer with black lace appliques. It really hugged my curves perfectly all the way down to my mid-thigh. Once I was out and dressed, I then curled my hair and pulled it to the side over my bare shoulder keeping my tattoo exposed. "And though she be but little, she is fierce." I got it when I was 15 after I had to kill my first wild feral wolf over a deer.

When J and I were first made rogue, we kind of forced ourselves to stay wolf. We could hide our tracks better that way. I ended up a little more wild than I had anticipated but my wolf was so much better at control than I was. I was a loose cannon and she took all of my emotions for me. She was rogue for sure. I know you must think that killing another animal over food is stupid but, we had not eaten in three days and the asshole tried to take it from us after we did all the work. Plus, I love Shakespeare and it was a quote from his play "A Midsummer Night's Dream."

I pulled on my red high heels and finished my makeup, a smoky eye and my signature red lip stick. A long whistle sounded from behind me. I turned around to see Joya standing there and the bitch was on all fours howling at me like a... well like a wolf. Her sense of humor was so dark.

Standing up, Joya smiled, "Well, well, well. I didn't know you had it in you Cat. You look amazing."

"I had to try just a little. I can't have you upstage me all the time J." I slapped her ass. "Now let's go. As usual, we're going to be late."

The drive was only about 30 minutes. The car was comfortably silent as the GPS read out the directions. I normally hated quietness in the car. I was a rock n' roller and needed the strumming of a base guitar to waken me. But, unfortunately, for some reason I was rather nervous. I honestly never got nervous but the thought of being kicked out of the territory was unsettling. Joya had worked really hard to get into the university and I hated the fact that we might have to move again. So I welcomed the silence, that I never found peace in. Becasue, as usual, fear demanded to be felt.

We soon reached our destination, it's wasn't too far out of the city but far enough that it was surrounded by the enthralling forest trees. Coming to a halt at the entrance of the circular driveway, Joya's eyes grew to the size of saucers. I'm sure mine mirrored hers as well.  Directly in front of us was a large stone water fountain, lit up in several different colors. In the middle were two large white wolves facing each other almost nose to nose.
