The night was still, the moon hanging in the dark sky as the stars twinkled and shined. It was silent except for the crickets chirping melodies and owls hooting as their huge eyes kept the lookout for prey to feast on. The cool breeze made its way through the night. All was quiet and dark except for a huge building that was ablaze with light. Inside the building, you could hear voices as they began to chat bout scientific things; Chemicals, experiments, and many more. Some asked one another about what they should do with the girl they had found wandering in the woods alone, and some responded with, "Probably the same thing with those bird kids."

"You mean those kids that escaped months ago?!"

"More like years John. Besides, they're probably dead by now." The worker explained, "But that is money wasted!" John said as he threw his hands in the air, "Thousand of dollars wasted!" "Adam's right." a girl who wore a lab coat and had her blond hair in a bun and carried a clipboard walked by the two workers, "How would you know Elise?" John scowled at the scientist, "I just know." the girl replied as she rolled her eyes and walked to two gray double doors. Growling could be heard from inside the room as a wolf with raven black fur and glaring ice green eyes. The wolf was in the corner of the cell as people in white coats surrounded the cage. The wolf's growling slowly became louder as the people kept writing on their clipboards.  Once the scientist had finally left the room, the wolf stopped growling. The black wolf laid down and set her head on her black paws as her eyes began to close until she felt a burst of energy. Noticing how some of the iron bars were bent and were very weak, the wolf turned into a human girl with fair skin, black hair with a streak of red in it and wore a black hoodie with jeans and black converse and pushed past the bars before becoming a wolf again and ran straight to a window that was open and she jumped.
