Chapter2: Settling in and a new...friend?

I woke up  to the song of 'She will be loved' by
Maroon 5. i love that song I looked out the window
and saw a sign saying ' Welcome to California'
wow that nap really did make the time go by fast.
It wasnt even 20 minutes later did we arrive at
this 2 story house. I examined the house i saw that
the house had a pool, a big one actually. Oh how i
so want to just dive into the pool. As soon as we
pulled into the drive way i took off and ran to the
house, my parents and I made a deal that i can
choose my room first. I looked though the rooms
and I just fell in love with the 3rd room i entered.
It was like my dream room, it had everything I
ever wanted. The room was a cukoo blue it had a
little stairs that led up to my bed, So it was kinda
like a mini stage. It also had SUPER soft carpet
that felt like a cloud. The bed was queen sized,with
white covers with lots of pillows. Best of all it had
a mini fridge and my OWN balcony. oh my gees I
honestly think im in love.  I started unpacking my
clothes i didnt have much since i had to leave
a lot behind. But oh well, on the way up here i saw a
Huge mall. I'll just have to go to the mall later.
"Lex! I need a favor, can u come down stairs please?"
ugh i just laid down on my heavenly bed. "Sure i'll
be down in a sec." It took everything i had to get my
self up out of my very comfy bed. I went down stairs
to see my mom unpacking stuff and putting things
into the kitchen. "Hunny, do you think you could go
to the grocery store and pick up a few things for
dinner tonight?" as much as i wanted to just relax
and just stay home, I said yes because sooner or later
i need to get used to where everything is. Since my
mom and dad got me my very own car. " Sure mom,
what did you need from the store?" " Here i made a
list" I took the list and started to head to my BMW.
Once i finally found the stupid store, I started
marking off the list. When I went down the milk isel
being the stupid person i am not paying attention, I
bumped into this girls grocery basket. "oh my gosh
I am so sorry, I wasn't paying attention." Great I
haven't even been here a day and i already did
something stupid. Nice job Lexi, I think you
made a new record. I mentally scowlded my self.
" Oh, don't worry about it i wasn't paying attention
either. Hey Are you new here? i've never seen you
before?" " Umm, yea i'm new I just moved here
today actually." I said with a small smile. She
returned the smile and said " Oh well Hi i'm
Ashlyn." she said extending her hand for me
to shake. " Hi my name is Lexi, its nice to meet
you." "Its nice to meet you too, oh my gosh I love
your sunglasses! are they the new Alejandra Ramerez
sunglasses?" I was really surprised she knew the
brand of the sunglasses she didnt seem like the type
of girl to know. "yea they are, How did you know?"
" I Have been waiting forever! for them to finally
come out. Me and Ashlyn talked for about 30 min
until we both had to go since it was getting late.
Turns out we have alot in common. we exchanged
phone numbers and agreed to text each other later.
When i finally came home it was about 7:30. After
we ate and watched t.v for a while, I went to bed.
Tomorrow will be my first day of school at Anchor
Beach High school.  I hope tomorrow wont be that
bad. Well i could do is hope right? With that in
mind I laid on my bed and let the darkness take
over and fell in to a deep sleep.
