Today was the day Aphmau finally left her village that she had grown up with for 18 years of her life. She had been looking forward to this day for a few years ever since she had gotten her horse, Frostbite, when she was 13.

Her parents had always warned her of the dangers of the outside world from ever since she could remember! The paths that they roamed as a village were always a reminder to her and the village of how cruel the world can really be.

Aphmau had chosen her job as a defender during the time in the village. Defenders were basically on the road guards who defended off attacks, thieves, and bandits. These people were trained to hold off threats so that the other villagers had time to get away quickly without being scared off: like sheep in a herd being cornered by wolves. This job existing reminded almost everyone in this village of the dangers the world gives out like sunshine that leaks into every corner it can reach.

Aphmau waved goodbye to her parents and fellow friends as she rode off on her trusted pet and friend, Frostbite. Frostbite was a elegant Female Grey horse with an elegant black mane. All packed with supplies and extra money for the road she ventured out to find a new destiny for herself.

This destiny would have ups and downs, along with twist and turns. One of the many things Aphmau had a habit of, was either eating to much or running short of food. Not being able to make food appear out of no where, it meant she would have to pack up her camp and find a herd of pigs or cows.

'Packing Up Camp?' you may ask, well it's because she didn't find it funny or cool to loose her camp. It's happened before, she went out on a hunting spring for some food taking Frostbite with her of course, she ended up getting lost. She spend about three to four hours looking for camp, once she found it; she had found out it had been robbed! Aphmau was of course angered by it, but it was also her own fault. So since then she packed up her camp and took it with her.

Today was a bit different, not being able to find anything food related she found a village. It was on fire, although Aphmau wanted to laugh at how pitiful the village looked and how everyone was running everywhere with water buckets trying to put out the light orange beauty. Aphmau smiled to herself you could think she was just insane, but no; she had a bright idea. Aphmau knew that Frostbite had a fear of fire, so she quickly hopped off of her horse and tired the grey beauty to a tree and ran off with a small bag.

This village was clearly coming to it's end, so why not steal from it? They most likely wouldn't notice. Well that's what she thought until she tripped over something, about to curse herself for being such a cults she saw what it was, it was a body being covered by a sheet. Aphmau has respect for the dead so she gave a quick apology and kept on with her quest to unless items and food.

So far everything was going great, she had food that could last her about two weeks and items she could trade to get coins. She was about to leave with the sack on her shoulder until she was dragged back, she squealed in shock until she saw it was some dude with a helmet. Great she was caught, she only sighed and rolled her eyes. She sat the sack down beside her, admitting her defeat. The man only took her arm and ran to the body she tripped over.

"What?" Aphmau spat out at the mystery man, people began to surround her. Aphmau gave off an annoyed growl and got on her hands and knees and lifted up the sheet to show a slightly burnt face of an elder. "Sweet, he's dead. Now I need food do you have any?" She asked kind of annoyed, everyone still fell silent making things a little awkward for Aphmau. Uncrossing her arms and tried to push through the people but god damn there was so many.

"Stay, help us a bit" The man who dragged you over here said, Aphmau tried not to laugh but failed epically. "hAHA! ME?! HELP!?" Aphmau at this point had to put her hands on her knees so she could support her upper half, slightly bend over. After Aphmau caught her breath, she realized that the people weren't kidding. They really wanted her help.

Aphmau only gave off her now famous sigh and gave in. "Let me get my horse..." Aphmau said and walked out and returned about ten minutes later with her best friend, "Where can I put Frostbite?" Aphmau asked. Someone guided her to a small building that seemed to be a really shitty barn, not wanting to be rude Aphmau gave a fake smile and tied her friend down again. Giving a kiss to Frostbite's nose and headed off.

Aphmau never planned on staying, just to help. Plus there was free food, free food means a 'hell yes!' in her book. She was roaming around the area she never got to raid. It was a small yet big village, finding secrets on top of secrets she enjoyed it so far. Aphmau stilled wanted to leave.

Always.
