HUMBLE BEGINS {PART ONE}

"morning beautiful,"

were the first words I woke up to every day.
A small smile found itself on my face as my eyes fluttered open ,as expected ,to be greeted by my smiling father.

"hey dad good morning."

i smiled and sat to give my dad a kiss on his cheek .
That was my morning routine he always was the one to wake me up on a morning.

"go get dressed for school or you're gonna be late."

He then got up and left so i could get ready. I looked at my clock which read 7:17 am.

I walked into my bathroom and stripped off my clothes dropping them in a pile on the floor

" be gone you evil sack o poptatoes ."

then i took a quick shower and brushed my teeth. I walked out of the bathroom and steam fogged my room being the little child that i am i pretended to be a swamp monster and waked over to my closet

"which one of my pretties choose to be worn today."

I said picking out a white tank top with a sky blue crop top with the word "pickle" in big bold letters across it and a pair of high waisted ripped skinny jeans and my high top converse.

I walked downstairs to the kitchen and saw my older brother leaning over the counter so i jumped on his back screaming 'raahh'

"morning jackson "

I kissed his cheek and he chuckled

" morning anne how is this fare i didn't get a chance to prepare myself for your fat self"

Jackson then held under my thighs and flipped me over his shoulder and onto the couch and started tickling me.

" jack-son s-stop i-i cant b-breath"

i struggled to say in between laughs i placed my feet in the centre of his abdomen and flipped him over and ran to hide behind my dad who was watching us from the door way smiling at his children.

I jumped on his back as jackson rolled off the couch and looked around for me i ducked my head behind my dad and hoped he didn't see me.

it was quiet for a moment. I got scared and jackson popped out at me from behind and grabbed me from off my dads back and put me to sit on a stool

" you're gonna have to eat or else we're gonna be late "

he sat down beside me and put the box of choco puffs infront of me i took a bowl and half filled it with the choclatey goodness he did the same and we had a competition on who could eat it faster.

" I WIN SUCKER"

I shouted in his face and began dancing around him like an ape

" c'mon lets go anne we're gonna be late "

he said pulling my arm

"no we are not you are just being a sour puss "

i said waving my parents goodbye and blowing them a kiss.
