Hi my name is Shay, Shay Roberts to be exact. You've probably heard of me. I'm currently huge in Hollywood. Or at least a fast rising star. Actually this year I've been nominated for three Teen Choice Awards(choice model, NBT, social media queen, ect.) Oh yeah and I'm 16 years old and I'm from Charlottesville, Virginia. I started out on Instagram and Vine but then soon spread out to YouTube and YouNow. Then my current agent Stacey Reynolds found me and helped me kick off my career.
"Shay Marie Roberts!!!!" My mom screamed I just rolled my eyes and yelled back,
"What do you want that could possibly be more important than my me time, you know that it's what all the major celebs do to keep them beautiful and unstressed!!!"
"Alright I've had enough of you being rude and disrespectful and lazy in this household you need to make a change to your attitude or I'm flying you back home and no more Hollywood for you for good!" I knew she didn't mean it so I yelled,
"Mhmmm okay so I don't care if you send me back home it won't help anything I've still got YouTube and Instagram and younow and all my loyal friends so GOOD LUCK!!!" Oh boy she's coming up the stairs not good not good hide while you can Shay.
"Oh really ya think well guess what if you don't fix your attitude by the end of the day I'm sending you back to Charlottesville without a phone and I'll tell Aunt Kate and Uncle Greg to make sure you don't have any access to your devices or theirs. SO KEEP PUSHING ME!!!"
"Okay well I'm going shopping." I said
"Oh nonononono you are grounded you aren't going anywhere unless it's for your career and shopping isn't."
"Ughhh your so unfair."
"Life's Unfair."
Ughhh she really pisses me off
"Do the dishes!"
"That's what Riha is for."
"Nope not today she's taking the day off."
"Oh really did I say she could."
"No I did!! Now get down HERE AND DO IT!!"
"Ughhh noooooooooooo."
"Alright I'm calling Kate!"
It's not like she really will it's just a threat I should've just went shopping instead of dealing with her. I'm just gonna go to sleep.
Kate's POV
*ring* *ring*
"Hello?"
"Hi Kate it's Sammy Is it okay if I send Shay back to your house?"
Wow okay was not expecting that. 😬
"Uhmm it's fine with me and I'm sure Greg will be fine with it to. But how long would she be staying?"
"Uhmmmmmmm welllll it's almost summer so maybe like June till mid July. She just needs an attitude adjustment that's all. Just a Change of scenery besides L.A. For a while since she's been kinda bratty."
"Alright so I mean she can come at the end of the week I guess."
"Okay thanks and no phones or electronic devices while she's there until you think she's not bitchy anymore ha...ha."
"Okay well I gotta go help with the farm work bye sis."
"Bye"
Greaaattttt better tell Greg .
Shays POV
*end of week*
"Shay! SHAYLEI! SHAYLEI MARIE ROBERTS!!"
"what?!!!!"
"Get yo a double s down here right now"
"Fine"
I go downstairs as I'm down there I see an angry mom a packed suitcase and my cousin?! What?!
"Uhm hi..."
"Hi so you ready to go"my cousin said
"Go where exactly?" I asked unsure and kinda scared
"Virginia" he stated
"I told you I was gonna do it Shay and I did now get your charger or whatever and come on." My mom had said.
I was so mad words could not describe. I went upstairs and grabbed my iPod and my hygiene stuff and my charger and headphones and put it into my carry on bag. And went downstairs and then to the car with my head hung low because of paparazzi and bc I was almost crying.
"Come on Jellybean."
"Really you still remember that nickname." I asked my cousin laughing
"Yup" he said popping the P.
We got to the airport and then eventually got onto our plane and I put in my headphones and listened to random songs and the first song was "the dog days are over" I wanted to skip the song but something told me not to. And it made me feel happier I don't know how or why but music changes how I act.
"Please turn off all electronics and buckle up because we are about to land."
I did so and prepared myself for the country.
