"Hey I'm Collin" I said awkwardly infront in front of the whole class. This year, I'm the new kid. I never liked to be known as the 'new kid'. I just think of it as 'center of attention for embarrassment from the teacher'.
"Um... it says here on the attendance sheet that your name is Carmen." The substitute teacher announced.
Me of course sighs and slowly walks back to my seat in the back of the class room.
It's my first new day of a brand new life. I don't think the teachers will expect me to pay attention to anything.
I stare at the clock hoping time would
Speed up so I could get to the next class, but I was suddenly alerted that the teacher was assigning homework.
The teacher makes her way over to my desk with the home work assignment. "Great" I mumoved under my breath hoping she wouldn't hear.
"Hope you were paying attention. This stuff is kind of difficult if you don't pay attention." The teacher said and walked off.
*Bell Rings*
