Kyle used telekinesis to block some of the followers's attacks, hissing in frustration when they kept persisting on attacking him.

They're really strong, I'll give them that.

He thought, ducking as Dash slices at one of the followers's chest as they had attempted to grab and drag him away.

Kyle hears a yelp and turns to see Alessa attempting to block some attacks, panting and looking exhausted.

But she was doing well.

Turning away initially, the sound of a cry coming from deep within grabbed his attention and he was thrown back by a sudden blast of electrical energy.

Kyle slowly got up, ears ringing as he sees the followers dead on the ground, faces white and bloodied.

A painful sensation fills his head and he screams, falling back onto the ground and clutching his head. It felt as if someone severed a mental link he had with one of his team-mates.

And he sees Joshua panicking and shaking a motionless Alessa.

He sees her eyes rolled to the back of her head and the unstable trembling of her arms as the gauntlets expelled unstable amounts of electricity into her.

Kyle feels his face pale as Joshua runs over with Alessa in his arms, towards Christina who finished off the last of Firis's followers.

"Christina, she's not moving!"

Joshua panicked, holding a motionless Alessa with his eyes glittering with tears.

No... No. Please no.

Alessa looked badly beaten and even a little burnt—her gauntlets were broken and unstable sparks of electricity were flying out of the cracks of the gauntlets.

"We were fighting some of those follower guys when her gauntlets exploded on her," Joshua says, heavily breathing, "she was thrown back and she was convulsing before she stopped moving..."

He sets Alessa down and the team watches as Christina attempts CPR in her and Dash heals her wounds.

But the issue was that Alessa's injuries seemed to be internal, so Christina ordered Sagittarius to create a portal so they could go back home and resolve the issue from there.

They had rushed back to the apartment via the portal, Christina setting Alessa down on her bed as she and Dash attempt to heal and bring her back.

Christina used her electricity based powers as a defibrillator whilst Dash used his light healing powers to heal any wounds that were inflicted on Alessa.

But she was stone cold and pale, unmoving with cracked lips and raspy breaths leaving her before she had fallen silent.

"Goddammit, Alessandra, wake up! Please!"

Christina, with tears in her eyes, unleashed one final shock onto Alessa and for a moment, it appeared that electricity was filling Alessa's veins and swimming through her body before fading away.

She would then place two fingers on Alessa's wrist and she still couldn't feel a pulse—and she wasn't waking up.

"Can... Can you shock her again?"

"I can't, my electricity power has gone dormant because I was overusing it to save Alessa."

Christina says and Kyle sighs, trying to keep himself together—but he let himself go when seeing Joshua cry.

"We're going to try again, Josh, I'll try."

Dash firmly says, placing a hand on Joshua's shoulder and attempts to comfort him when he full on hugs him and sobs into his shoulder.

Kyle wipes at his face when tears fell and he notices sparks of electricity leaving Alessa's fingertips.

He blinks twice as he believed he was imagining things—but his thoughts were cut off as he felt himself collapse onto the ground and sob, clutching onto his chest.

Kyle, Dash said he'll try again. Just keep your spirits high, just try to keep your spirits high!

Kyle thought to himself as Dash holds onto Joshua with one arm while attempting to heal and bring Alessa back with another.

Alessa's body convulsed along with Dash's attempts, as he kept trying and did whatever he had in his power to bring her back.

Dash and Christina's attempts lashed until the next day, where they had felt a pulse—but Alessa wouldn't wake up.

Kyle hadn't sleep, eyes brimming with tears and the whites of his eyes red as he and Joshua sat at Alessa's bedside with the rest of the team.

"We tried. It's okay now. But we have to wait and see if she's okay."

Christina would say, placing her hand on Kyle's shoulder and squeezing it in reassurance

"She'll be okay. Everything will be okay."

But Kyle wasn't sure if everything will be okay anymore at this point as he looked at Alessa's pale and unmoving face.

For all he knew, he wanted her back—CINDER wanted her back.

If she won't come back to the living world, Kyle was sure they would all lose their minds and never be the same.
