It was just an average day for Peter Parker.
Walking through the hallways of Midtown High after putting his bag in his locker and collecting the necessary books for his first class, he would release a sigh, walking beside his best friend Ned Leeds who was rambling on as usual with the usual passionate spark behind his eyes.
"So, studied for our Spanish test?"
The only thing on Peter's mind apart from paying attention in his classes in order to better his grades was the prospect another day of saving civilians and stopping petty criminals.
The usual business.
But then again, the job of being a superhero and having to deal with criminals all on his own was a bit too much for him. But he reaped what he sow and had to swallow that thought down and do whatever he can to keep Queens safe.
"Yeah..."
Peter would respond whilst deep in thought, the grip he had on his textbooks would become firmer and Ned would notice a strange expression etched on his face.
He then felt a rough shove against his shoulder as someone stalked past him. Turning his head, Peter gulped as a boy, who looked to be around seventeen, with dark hair and eyes, shot him a glare before turning back around and stalked away, presumably to the boy's bathroom to skip out on class.
"You okay, Pete?"
Ned would ask, Peter understandably shaken, gave him a nod as they slid through the crowded hallway and managed to navigate their way to their homeroom, sitting in their usual seats
In Homeroom, the class were introduced to the new student-teacher, Christina Stark. Peter knew who she was, and so did everyone else. The class was in an uproar before the homeroom teacher quietened them down and asked for them to behave themselves and show some respect for Christina and treat her just like any other teacher.
He didn't recall Mr Stark mentioning that he had a daughter. Although his personal life wasn't none of his business, and he could see that Christina didn't seem partially fond of her father when bombarded with questions about him from the other students.
Before making his way to Spanish Class, Peter would share a short conversation with Christina, learning that Christina was sent to keep an eye on him alongside with Happy, which Peter felt relieved for because he was glad Happy wouldn't be too stressed out about having to keep an eye on him all on his own.
Peter knew he was rather unpredictable and a little naive and stubborn and when it came to the whole superhero business. I mean, he has been Spider-Man for months now and he was still adjusting to the changes that came with being a superhero.
And it had proven to take a stressful toll on him when he least expected it.
Spanish Class went by and Peter had skimmed through his test with ease and he was on his way to Chemistry class with Ned in tow yet again.
Apart from the occasional nagging from Flash about Spider-Man and seeing the boy who he ran into this morning scaling the school rooftop like it was no big deal, Peter's morning wasn't really as eventful as he expected it to be.
----
It was lunch break and Peter and Ned had relegated to their usual table, quietly chatting about their latest assignments and class tests coming up.
Peter then noticed a boy and a girl sitting at their table, keeping to themselves and eating their lunch and doing homework or simply watching the world around them.
