Chapter 1: a Nightmare of feelings

It was June 15 a beautiful summers morning and Star Butterfly is still asleep tossing and turning and talking in her sleep" No Marco! Marco!". She is having a terrifying nightmare. Star automatically sits up in her bed and screams taking deep breaths. Marco quickly runs down the hall and opens stars door still in his PJs he looks star dead in the eye and she does the same she begins to cry! Marco runs over to her and sits on her bed . Stars head was wedged between her knees . As she cried tears ran down her cheeks like a fountain. " Another nightmare " Marco asks putting one had on stars shoulder . Star nods still crying she looks up and whips her tears on her night gown . " I am sorry I am really sorry" star said with tears in her eyes staring at Marco . " you did nothing Star nightmares are just bad dreams that like to scare people don't let this get to you I am here for you okay. Marco said grabbing stars hand . Star smiled Marco was the besties friend she should every ask for. Marco then pulls Star in for hug and she accepts . They stopped hugging and Marco stands up " so are you ready to go to Mewni for another summer " Marco said trying to change the subject. Star smiled and stood on her bed and began bouncing up and down she then screamed " YESSS!" . Just then stars mirror phone rings. Star quickly jumps off the bed and walked over to the mirror phone on the wall Marco following her . They stop right in front of the mirror " incoming call from Mom " spoke the mirror . Star push accept and king and Queen Butterfly ( Stars parents) appear on the mirror. " Hi pumpkin " king Butterfly said smiling. " hi Daddy " star said with a even bigger smile . " Are you kiddos ready for a hunting trip in the dark woods " king Butterfly said in a hyper voice . Star and Marcos face light up every since star was little Her dad always took her hunting and showed her how to fight monsters until Queen Butterfly figured out what they were up to they haven't done one in years but now that star was older and They had another person to go with which is Marco the Queen allowed Her husband to take them last year and they are going again this year. " Are we going to fight dragloms this time Marco asked with one Karate move. " Of course we are my Boy we're going to find one this year and bring it down " king Butterfly said screaming and a spear in his hands." Star smiled so happily staring and laughing at her dad life seemed so prefect she forgot about the nightmares. " Star ?" Her mom said looking puzzled. Star began panicking and said in her head " please don't notice I have been crying please don't notice" star began holding her breath. "Star are you even packed your room is a mess!" Queen moon said . Star let out all the air she was holding in she was relieved that her mother didn't notice she was crying. " ohhh right well I use a transportation spell to take all my stuff to Mewni ohh and Marcos stuff to of course. Star said with a smile and a little laugh . Queen Butterfly smiled at Star and Marco . " We can't wait until you to arrive ohh just make sure you two get here by lunchtime okay ?" Said Queen Butterfly. " Of course mom we will be there " star said with a big smile. " okay then kids see you in a little bit Byeeee " said king Butterfly. " Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee " Marco and star said at the same time. They hanged up the mirror phone and star and Marco laughed because they just had a Twin moment. "Okay so do you want me to make us some breakfast burritos and you cast the spell on are rooms or stuff or however you do it I guess?Marco said walking towards the door and stopping at the door waiting for Stars answer " Yup that sounds awesome but Marc0?" Star said " Yes Star ?" Marco said " Maybe get dressed first ." STar said with a laugh " Ohhh right thank you don't know what I would do without you." Marco said looking down at his PJs that he was still wearing and laughed . Marco exists Stars bedroom and goes into his and gets dressed in his usual black skinny jeans a gray T-shirt and his famous red hoody. " Okay perfect" Marco said looking in the mirror . His phone then goes off he got a text from his girlfriend Jackie. Marco grabbed his phone out of his pocket and read the text and it said " Hey Marco I am going to be stopping bye your house in a few there's something I have to tell you ohh here comes a big ramp I'll see you soon." Marco smiled he is so happy Jackie is his girlfriend he has had a crush on her since second grade. He couldn't wait to see her. Marco zipped up his hoody and walked down stairs and went into the kitchen to see his mom and Dad cooking breakfast. " Ohh good morning Marco breakfast should be ready in twenty minutes " said Marcos dad . " Oh okay thanks " Marco said and smiled and walked into the living room and sat on the couch. The door bell then rings " Marco get the door" star screamed all the way from her room ."Okay I'll get it" Marco said getting off the coach and walking towards the door
