chapter 1(lolas p.o.v)

lola. thats my name. everyday is a challenge. school is death. i woke up early monday mornin as the time read 6:30. why do i get up so early? i asked myself. i put on my sweat pants and hoodie, grabbed my ipod and went outside for a run. it helps me escape. i put on my playlist and little me by little mix blasted through my headphones. i usually had nightmares that would make me wake up so it became a normal routine running in the morning. no one was ever on the road but me. as i turned the corner i was immediately bumped into and i fell backwards onto the ground. " oh my, uh im sorry" the voice said. i looked up muttering to myself. "its okay,who-" i looked at him. oh.my.word. he was tall, from what i could see he had hazel eyes , his cheeks were pink from the morning brreze and his hair was in a hood but some of it stuck ouf revealing a jet black colour. he interrupted my thoughts. " um, im sorry" he said. i regained my stability and spoke " its o-okay, im just not used to people on this street at this time". he smiled showing a deep dimple on his left cheek. "yeah, well I just moved in down the block and was just exploring",he said. "at 6 am in the morning?" he laughed at my reaction and replied " sue me princess". princess? did he just- " ill see you around, yeah?" he said. before i could reply he put on his headphones , adjusted his hood and flashed me a quick smile before turning around and running down the block. i just stood there. biwildered.
