Joshua used his shadow in an attempt to grab the woman and hold her down but she flew off for a moment before coming back and flinging him into a wall.
Sagittarius, teeth clenched, fired energy blasts at the woman and the bubble as Kyle doesn't hesitate and tries to keep her still on the spot with his telekinesis.
But he was struggling as she was much more powerful.
Sagittarius then sees Alessa grab her wristwatch and talk to it, looking as if she was asking for Christina to hurry and come over because they were in a tight situation.
Sagittarius subconsciously thrust her hands out and a portal emerged from behind the woman, but she didn't know where the place the portal had portalled at.
She hears Kyle mumble something and his eyes were glowing blue as he wriggles his fingers and the place pictured in the portal had changed.
The place looked the same at first—it looked to be some sort of advanced civilisation but now, it looked as if it was in ruin, with destruction and shadowy figures in the background.
"Did... did you just change the location or reality itself?"
Sagittarius sounded panicked as Kyle ignored her and used his telekinesis to shove the woman into the portal. And Sagittarius didn't hesitate in closing it, the last thing of the woman she heard was a petrified scream of terror.
The bubble pops and Marlene and Alessa fall out, the pair sighing in relief.
They then portalled back to the school parking lot, Kyle putting up an illusion so they would appear nice and tidy (but in fact, their clothes didn't fare that well).
Sagittarius then sees Christina haul away Schultz with some agents and when she sees the team, she winked and motioned for them to go back inside.
Homecoming didn't go by as quick as they imagined. It was a slow night, but eventful. But Peter didn't come back after.
Probably dealing with some weirdo who has the advanced tech.
Sagittarius thought to herself.
A day came by and the team were once again huddled in their apartment, bored out of their minds.
And occupied with their usual hobbies.
Sagittarius then hears the balcony doors open and Peter walk in, wearing what appeared to be the suit Tony had given him.
Peter was grinning.
"I got my suit back."
"YES! FINALLY! YOU DESERVED THAT SUIT FROM THE START THOUGH!"
Joshua unexpectedly runs over to hug Peter, Marlene following suit as Alessa and Christina smiled, Kyle patting Peter's back and acting like a proud older brother.
But Sagittarius sees the expression on Peter's face change as he sits on the couch and everyone else went back to what they were doing at first.
"And I declined Mr Stark's invitation to join the Avengers as a full time member."
Peter then saw the team drop whatever they were doing. Joshua was gaping, Kyle was swearing and yelling and demanding why he turned the offer down, Sagittarius was facepalming and Marlene was screaming at the top of her lungs.
While Christina and Alessa watched on, the pair sighing at the chaos before them as Peter panics and attempts to explain himself.
"Look... Look, for god knows how long, I want to help out the little guy, you know? The Avengers, like, joining the avengers is a responsibility that I don't feel like I can handle at this time."
"BUT STILL! YOU WOULD'VE BEEN UP THERE WITH THE BADASSES, WITH IRON PATRIOT AND VISION!"
Joshua was yelling, grabbing Peter by the shoulders and he managed to calm himself down before he could possibly die of cardiac explosion.
"But it's fine, you declined to join out of your own free will, Pete."
Peter sees Joshua smile slightly at him, something he wasn't really used to.
"I uh... also declined the offer because of you guys and because of CINDER, disguising that as half of the helping the little people thing. Well, I didn't tell Mr Stark that CINDER is a thing because it's risky and we don't want him or anyone else meddling with our business and forcing us to do stuff we don't want to do..."
He sheepishly adds in and Sagittarius blinks.
"Because of the team? Hey... You didn't need to do that."
"But you're all my family, I should do that. You mean the world to me so much."
Peter smiles and Kyle and Joshua both looked as if they were about to cry as they tackle him and cry, hugging him.
Sagittarius then follows, holding onto Peter and sniffling and Alessa and Marlene join in, the team holding onto Peter, happily crying as Christina holds them all close and pats their backs and tries to comfort them, somehow.
But she knew happily crying teenagers don't need comfort because they're happy.
Sagittarius then sees Peter and Joshua exchange a glance after they both look at Christina. And they then cry again, grinning.
"Still want that Star Wars marathon?"
"Of course. But we're not including the prequel trilogy."
Peter and Joshua then started arguing after breaking away from the hug, the rest of them watching on and laughing as if nothing had changed or happened.
She then looks up at Christina who was laughing and wiping a tear from her eye before she smiled at her.
"We're all a family. That won't change."
She says before she attempts to stop Peter and Joshua's fighting with a hug, and the others joined in, grinning as the boys squirmed and argued.
"CINDER is a team and a family. Now, since you understand that concept since day one, can you both behave and stop fighting?"
"HELL NO!"
