"I guess their date went good and Sagi managed to convince our glutton here to stop eating literally everything?"

Kyle questions and Joshua shrugs, looking a little relieved.

"I hope so. Or else Christina will be on our asses if she finds out about the food hoarding eventually. And she won't be very happy about that."

----

Kyle made his way to Christina's apartment, backpack slung over his shoulder and head held high.

Just act natural. Say you skipped school because you seek wisdom about telling someone you like them and want to date them because they're awesome. Not because you want to fail school deliberately.

He thought, opening the door as he taken the apartment key from Joshua earlier at breakfast.

Kyle took a good look around before flopping onto the sofa, sighing and looking up at the ceiling.

The door opened once it was around the time school finished, and Christina walked in, raising a brow at Kyle all relaxed and sleepy on her sofa.

"Why are you here? And why did you skip school?"

Kyle sleepily rubbed at his eyes and sat up, staring at her.

"I want to tell Alessa I like her and want to date her because she's the most incredible person this universe has to offer."

He says, face red as he looked away, lips in a firm line as Christina didn't appear to respond at first.

But he heard her chuckle slightly, walking up the photo of her and Steve tacked to the wall and stared at it fondly for a moment.

"I was your age once."

Wait, was Christina joking around? Kyle noted there was a humorous tone to her voice as she sat next to him, smiling and she pats his shoulder.

"I've probably experienced what you did, although I was doing superhero duties and in college at that point in time."

She turns to him, expression neutral initially before fondness replaced the blankness that was present before.

"As you would've known, yes, Captain America and I are dating. We didn't even have to worry about the whole 'what if my feelings are one-sided' mess."

She looked away.

"Steve and I just knew back then. But then again, it wouldn't be the same for you or her because you weren't in the same scenario as we were."

Christina then sighed.

"Just ask her to Homecoming."

She straight out says and Kyle was starting to feel uncomfortable. "I don't do so well when it comes to social events, Chris."

He would say, watching his hands tense when Christina got up and went to the kitchen to fetch some hot chocolate for the both of them.

"I need you guys there anyway. So it's best if you should go."

"Why?"
