Never- Midorima x Reader (Slight Crack)

((I am not sorry. This came up after watching Puella Magi Madoka Magica (PMMM). Forgive me for OOC Midorima, it's the point of crack right? XD PMMM and KNB belong to their owners.))

Today was the perfect day. 

You sat on the couch with your favorite drink, your laptop on your lap and the sound of the birds chirping was pleasing to the ears. Luckily for you, your teacher didn't assign homework for the weekend, thus giving you time to relax for a while.

And of course, spend time with the one you love.

You invited your boyfriend over for some quality time. Seeing that he had practice too often, you haven't gotten any time with him except for the times he went with you going back home. Well, you could say this was a good opportunity to take the time to talk to him a bit.

"___~ I'll be out for a while!" you heard your mom say, giving you a kiss on the forehead before she left.

"Bye ma!" you said, watching her go to the door and then looking back at your laptop to prepare your date with Midorima.

Just as your mother was about to open the door, she was greeted by a tall figure; who looked as if he was about to knock on your door. Her eyes widened and she gave a sweet smile and moved aside.

"Hi Midorima-kun!" she greeted. 

"Good afternoon Mrs. ___." he replied, as curt as usual.

You peeped from your laptop and smiled. Putting your laptop aside, you run up to him and give him a hug. "Hi Shintarou~!" 

He just blushed and looked away, pushing up his glasses in attempt to cover his flustered face. "Hi ___..." he mumbled.

"I'll leave you two love birds now~ Enjoy the day~" your mother bid you two goodbye, leaving you blushing too.

You let Midorima inside and close the door behind him. Leading him to the living room, you decide to start a conversation.

"Well, I have something for both of us to watch!" you say, holding his hand and sitting on the couch. "(Friend) says that it's a nice anime, so I thought maybe you wanted to watch it with me."

He sighs and pushes up his glasses, sitting beside you and looking at your laptop. "Which one?"

"Puella Magi Madoka Magica."

The green haired man suddenly froze, his body felt tense and looked at you with what seemed to be frightened eyes. 

"E-excuse me?"

'Did Shintarou-kun just stutter?' you thought, opening the link to the first episode. "Yeah, Puella Magi-"

"____ DON'T WATCH THAT!" he suddenly shrieked at you, which was incredibly out of character.

"Eh?" you blinked a few times. "Why not?"

"YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND. YOU'RE WALKING INTO A TRAP. ___, BELIEVE ME." he gripped your shoulders tight, staring into your soul with those beautiful green orbs.

"But, it's just-"

"DON'T YOU 'IT'S JUST A MAHOU SHOUJO ANIME' ME. THAT ANIME IS A TWISTED DEATH HOLE FOR THE PUELLA MAGI."

"How did you even know Shintarou..." you sighed.

"THEY KILLED OFF EVERYONE ___. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE."

"Calm down, please-"

"THAT KYUBEI IS BETRAYING EVERYONE."

"MIDORIMA!"

He looked at you with a hysterical look on his face. His eyes were widened, his neat hair now a mess and his glasses out of place.

You sighed and gave him a hug. "Fine, we're not watching Puella Magi. Calm down please?"

Midorima looked at you and then looked away with a pink face. "You didn't need to give me a hug, not like I wanted one..." 

"Let's do something else then, want to go outside?"

"Alright."

Extended ending~

Midorima entered his room, putting down his lucky item for the day. He had to admit, the day was fun.

Even if he panicked about Puella Magi.

Suddenly, he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. He took his phone and checked the ID. To his surprise, it was you.

"Hello?"

"SHINTTAARRROUUUUUUU!" you cried, blowing your nose as you cried.

He pinched the bridge of his nose and groaned. "What happened ___?"

"I WATCHED PUELLA MAGI, I HATE THIS SHOW! THEY KILLED MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS IMMEDIATELY AFTER AN EPISODE I LIKED THEM!"

"I TOLD YOU NOT TO WATCH IT!"
