I need you when I fail

I need you when I fall.

"Good morning class, so we have a new student, Lily Nova welcome to the school." And then class started as usual but I couldn't keep my eyes off of her. NO NO I can't like her it's not good I can't.

School had ended and finally I didn't have to worry about Lily.

"Hey Noah, so I was wondering if ... well since we're friends now did you want to come over?" Lily asked rubbing the back of her neck her voice was timid. I copied her moves and replied. "Ya sure that be great I'll have to text my mom first to tell her but then it's cool." I say she jumps with a smile on her face. She grabbed my hand I feel my face go red and we run out to the bus.

Her room was light pink very girly like her personality. I smiled my room was dark and full of anime posters. "So what do you want to do?" She asked her face hitting the light perfectly. I hear a phone buzz and I my focus moved to her phone. "Who that?" I asked she looked up from the screen. "Oh my bestfriend." I made a face that was shocked and offended. "I feel like I was just stabbed." she laughed. "How do you know what it feels like to stabbed?" we both laughed and fell off her bed wow was she pretty.

I had been hanging out with Lily for the last few months. I would go over to her house every few days. I was going to Lily's house today and today I would tell her how i felt.

I walked up to her house and pressed the doorbell my hands collecting. She answered the door.

"Hey Noah, come on up." I walk up stairs and enter the room that has now become very familiar.

"Hey lilly?" I say today I"ll tell her how I feel. "Yes?" she turns to me her smile so bright I hope when I tell her it won't die. "I have to tell you something... I'm kinda IN LOVE WITH YOU!!" I yell. She walks over to me her face straight and showing no emotion, here it comes rejection. She sits down next to me and smiles. She then leans in and closes her eyes and suddenly our lips are attached. Her lips are soft and smooth but the kiss didn't last long. She pulls back and we both are blushing. "I feel the same... but we're both girls."

Pause ok so through this whole story you thought I was a boy right? Well wrong Hi I'm Noah Eliza Michal, but wait I said I had a perfect family. We had the boy girl thing going on right me and my little sister. Well my parents have three kids, two girls and a boy. My brother killed himself a few years before I was born so they named me after him. Ok now you know what the truth let's get back to where we were.

I was going to have a sleepover at lily's house that night so we talked about how we felt.

"So now that we know we both like eachother what do we do?" Lily asked holding my hand. I turned my head turned to her and I smiled. "We date and tell our parents." She smiled and nodded we both laid down since it was already midnight. She snuggled into my arms while she turned off the lights. "I love you." she said and the snuggled into my chest. I felt like I was about to die but I had to say something back. "Love you to, Lily." and then we both fell asleep.

We woke up early and decided that we tell her parents today. We both got dressed , she wore a pink dress with her hair up in a ponytail and just one lock hanging out. I wore my black shirt, a huge red hoodie hugging my body and my converse. We walked down the stairs holding hand. See we aren't girlfriends but we are going to go on dates and see how it works but we want to come out to her parents together. We make it to the kitchen and let go of hands and I wiped the sweat off my hand.

"Hey Mom, Dad. Me and Noah have to tell you something." we both sit down our faces red as their early morning smiles turn to a concerned face.

"What is it honey." Her mom said. Lily looked at me and smiled we both took a deep breath. " Um Mom, Dad. Me and Noah... are... well I'm .... I'M A LESBIAN AND ME AND NOAH ARE GOING TO START DATING. Their faces went from shocked to soft smiles. Her dad stood up and turned to me.
"Well Noah treat my little girl right or I will hurt you." I smiled at him. "Yes sir." We all then sat down and eat breakfast.

I had to leave after and go and tell my parents. I walk in and drop my backpack by the front door it had all I needed if things went wrong. I walk into the living room and saw my little sister Lucy, she wore a blue dress but didn't look happy.

"Hey Lucy, you ok?" I asked I always love my sister. She turned to me.

"OH hey Noah, um well I just there's this boy in my class who used to be a boy can you do that?" she asked wow I mean I was all up for little kids knowing their gender identity but I had never knew someone who was. "Well Lucy, some people don't fit the sex they were born as so they change, why do ask?" She smiled at me. "Well I want to be his friend but I don't know how to talk to him." I smiled we talked for a bit but then I said I had to talk to mom and dad.

I walk into the kitchen where I see my mom making lunch, and my dad on his laptop.

"Hey um guys can we talk? I ask my palms sweating buckets.

"Sure sweetie." both my Mom and Dad say at the same time. "Ok so I'm going to say this right out there and then you can talk. Ok well I am lesbian and I'm going to start date Lily." I said and then looked up my dad's mouth was open and my mom then dropped the plate she was holding. "OUT OUT OF MY HOUSE WE WILL NOT HAVE ANOTHER FAG LIVING IN THIS HOUSE." My Dad yelled. "ANOTHER? WHAT DO YOU MEAN ANOTHER?" I yelled back my mom took a deep breath.

"Noah your brother didn't die when you were five, he was sixteen he told us he was gay we kicked him out." I was in shock I bursted into tears I can't believe they did that.

"OK I'LL LEAVE BUT YOU KNOW WHAT FUCK YOU. AND HEY LUCY DON'T LISTEN TO ANY SHIT THEY TELL YOU." I yell and run out of my house. I run to Lily's house and I will never see my family again.
