The Beasts - A Band Of Magic Warriors!

The Academy Part 1

"I don't wanna go!!" a boy with orange spikey hair, dressed in a hoodie and a tracksuit pants, yells as he is being dragged down the street by a girl wearing a light jacket, blue skirt and a flower in her long black hair.

"Oh shut it, Claw!" the girl shouts. 

"Why d'ya gotta be such a meanie, Dolphina?" Claw asks quickly while still being dragged along.

"What was that?" Dolphina hisses as she keeps dragging Claw along.

"N-nothing." Claw stutters.

"Good." Dolphina sighs and lets go of Claw. Claw gets up and starts walking beside Dolphina as she smiles, shaking her head. Claw tilts his head and  looks at Dolphina confused. Dolphina giggles at him.

"What's so funny?" Claw asks, even more confused. 

"You. You are just so silly sometimes, Claw." Dolphina answers while giggling.

"Huh?!?!" Claw says, still confused.

"Don't worry about it." Dolphina says and stops walking.

"Why d'ya stop?" Claw asks. 

"We're right in front of school." Dolphina says. 

"Oh." Claw says as he turns head forwards then widens his eyes as he glances at school and shouts, "Whoa!! Its Humongous!!!!"  

"Yep." Dolphina giggles as she walks though the gate, heading towards the main building. Claw follows behind, still in awe of the size of school. The two of them go into the reception room and sit down to wait for someone to go to them. Claw yawns silently as Dolphina checks her phone for messages. About ten minutes later, a man wearing a shirt, trousers and his hair in a ponytail, goes to them.

"Have you two been waiting long?" the man asks he as messes with his fringe a little. 

"Not really, Dustin," Dolphina replies with a smile as she puts her phone away. Claw goes silent and tries to sneak away but fails as Dustin catches him by the hood and lifts him up with ease.

"Not on my watch, Clawdred." Dustin says sternly.

"Oh c'mon, Dustin!" Claw whines.

"Nope." Dustin chuckles as he puts Claw down.

"Okay, now that the usual greeting is done. What the hell are you doing here?!?!" Claw asks as he takes a step back from Dustin. 

"Wait, didn't Yukio tell you?" Dustin says a little shocked.

"Tell me what?" Claw growls a little.

"I'm one of the teachers here." Dustin says, shaking his head. 

"Wha-What?!?!" Claw says in disbelieve.

"Um... Shouldn't you be looking around the school?" Dolphina asks.

"Well yes and no, Dolphina." Dustin replies. 

"Meaning?" Dolphina asks, impatiently.

"Meaning we're still waiting for the rest of our band." Claw laughs.

"Wait, they're not here?" Dolphina asks, confused.

"You were the who dragged me down here at six o'clock in the morning." Claw yawns. Dustin laughs at the two of them bickering pats them both on the head. They all go silent for a couple of minutes until Claw breaks the silence by tapping his foot.

"Well, I guess I'll show you around before we get bored." Dustin says.

"Good Idea" Dolphina says. The three of them walk out of the reception room and in the court that's right in the centre of the grounds. 

"That fountain in the middle of the court seems familiar" Claw says as he stares right at the fountain.

"That's because it's a replica of the one in the village." Dustin states.

"A replica of the fountain that granted us the power of the eleven mystic warriors." Dolphina says.

"Yeah... kind of weird, to be honest." Claw says, scratching his head. Dustin smiles and shakes his head then walks off, waving his hand to tell Claw and Dolphina to follow. They both nod then catch up to Dustin while looking around at the walls of the school and the flowers that are hanging off them. They walk inside in a building that is a big hall and Dustin goes to the middle of the hall and puts up a fighting stance. Dolphina and Claw look at him a bit confused and try to figure out why he suddenly up a fighting stance.

"This is Setanta Academy's combat training hall and I am one of the academy's combat teachers. Now, show me the fighting skills that you have gained up to this day!" Dustin says in a very serious voice.

"Okay, I know Setanta is a lengendary hero of Hiberina, who was later called Cúchulainn.... but I thought this was a secondary school, not an academy." Claw say while scratching his head.

"It is Claw, but some schools are called academies. I think you've been reading too much comic books lately" Dolphina says, face palming.

"Oh... and no I haven't!" Claw growls. Dustin runs to Claw and Dolphina as they're fighting amongst each other. Dolphina jumps out of the way as Claw pivots and kicks Dustin in the back, making him lose his balance a little bit. Dustin turns to punch Claw and Dolphina sneaks up behind Dustin. Claw blocks Dustin's punch with a karate chop as Dolphina kicks Dustin, landing a clean hit and making him fall over. Claw and Dolphina get away from Dustin and regroup as he gets up and charges at them. Claw smirks and stomps on the floor then within seconds, the floor is completely covered in ice, Claw controls the ice to capture Dustin within the ice, carefully so he doesn't capture Dolphina as well. Dolphina jumps up onto one of the walls as Dustin breaks free from the ice.

"Smart move, trying to immobilise me but you didn't do a good enough job, Claw. Dolphina, good job keeping yourself constantly at a distance." Dustin says, smiling at Claw and Dolphina. 

"Why did you want to test us?" Claw asks as he makes all the ice he summoned, thaw out. 

"Yeah, I'd like to know as well." Dolphina says.

"To see what level you're at in combat so I know what training to give  you, assuming you are going to take combat lessons." Dustin answers. 

"Oh." Claw and Dolphina say at the same time.

"Yo Dustin, I thought you might be here." a man with medium spiked black hair, dyed red at the the end of the spikes that goes down the right side of his face, says as he walks into the hall.

"Ah hey there, Spike. You're here early." Dustin says.

"Well it's a bit boring staying at home and it's good thing I came in." Spike states.

"Why's that?" Dustin asks.

"They were completey lost." Spike says as he points at four other people.

"Oh..." Dustin says, scraching his head.

"You got so caught up in a sparing match that you forgot, didn't you?" Spike asks.

"Maybe just a bit." Dustin laughs. 

"Jeez" Spike sighs and shoots a blast of energy at Dustin, grazing him.

"Hey watch it!" Dustin yells. 

"I would rather not." Spike says as he shoots another energy blast at Dustin.
