Ashley was home alone her parents went on their monthly date. she was in her room watching TV she hated the house, it had 4 rooms, her room, her parents room, the guest room, and the basement. she always had an off feeling about the house especially the basement. Ashley heard a loud noise from down stairs, she kept telling herself " it's nothing". Ashley went to the edge of the stairs, she couldn't see anything past the darkness eating her stairs. She flicked on the lights to the stairs to find nothing. The lights behind her turn off, Ashley turns around ,the darkness starts to swallow the whole upstairs then stops at her feet. Ellie hears her heart beating then she hears a low pitched voice whisper " it's nothing." Slowly hands started to reach out from the darkness.
