The day begins with A fuzzy minded awakening, as my watch blares, WAKE WAKE WAKE. It almost doesn't faze me today, unlike other days, my eyes almost droop down when I get shock from my wrist that travels up my left arm.
I sit up and rub my arm, Standing before I knew I'd get another. As I stand up my legs crack and pop, i turn 25 today. As I begin to Walk to my flats bathroom, and brush my teeth, the white labeled tooth paste almost tastes minty today.
It's my birthday, these days it means nothing. It's illegal to celebrate anything except the states Independence Day, it's also illegal to take of the damn watch. I brush my teeth then take a quick shower, only about ten minuets or if get another shock, the seconded one is always a bit worse. I get dressed in my bland suit and step out the door to head to work.
The tile on the floor is cracked and Grummy, but the janitors still try to clean them. We all know what would happen if they Refused their predetermined task. See in this world there are 3 groups, the politicians, the middle class and the low class. The janitors are low on the totem pole. When I was 10 years old the state gave me a test, and it determined the life. I was dealt the soft hand of the state and got a boring but comfortable job. It could be worse. There's a forth group and that's the states police, we call them the kaska.
The kaska is brutal, the product of the state giving most of the power to them. You can't think of anything more corrupt. I walk into my lousy looking office building and check in, they scan my watch and it tells my whole life's story if they even wanted to read it. I walk to the stairs, the kaska took down the elevators because the middle class need more exercise, in reality it means less struggle if they need to step in. I sit at my desk, nothing more then a computer, and a folder. My job is to take a video, if a commercial or a movie or even a series show, and determine if it's "appropriate" for tv. If I mess up the state will know by night fall and tomorrow no work. The clock dings, 9 o'clock.
