This story takes place shortly after the 4 descendants - Mal, Jay, Carlos & Evie - decided to become good and stay at Auradon Prep. There will be no random singing or dancing, no Uma, Harry or Gil (from Descendants 2) - sorry!
I don't own anything apart from Kyra and Paul (sadly).

Kyra's POV:
Home. Everyone wants a home - almost everyone has one. I have one, too. A small, grey house near a market place. Sure, most people think the Isle of the Lost is a crappy place to live. But I'm not most people. My family is here. My friends are here. And now, I have to go to Auradon Prep, a snobby school somewhere in the United States of Auradon. I'm half angry and half terrified. Despite being a VK (=villain kid), I still worry about people liking me. But hey, I suppose the other VKs who are going to school there fit in eventually. There is one good thing in all this. I get to see Carlos. We were really close before he left, now we'll be friends again.
I sigh and stuff the rest of my clothes into my tiny red suitcase. "Kyra, what's taking you so long?" That's my Dad, Hades. "Coming!" I yell and run downstairs. The door is already open and there's a fancy limousine waiting outside. I guess this is it. My Mom and my sister give me a big hug. "Sweetie, have fun, okay?" Mom says. I nod, trying hard not to cry. "Tell Carlos I miss him!" My sister Sarah winks at me playfully. I giggle. "I will." Then I turn to look at Dad. He looks kind of nervous, which is weird - he is never nervous. "Go cause some mischief, daughter. Make me proud." I smile and throw my arms around him. "I'll miss you, Dad." After looking back at my family one last time, I grab my suitcase and head to the limo. A really tall man signals me to sit in the car. I hesitantly do as I'm told and look around the spacious backroom of the limo. There is candy everywhere! Well, I think it's candy. I'm about to eat a chocolate biscuit when the car door opens and a guy around my age sits next to me. "Hey, I'm Paul. What's up?" I'm a little taken aback by him being so friendly. "Um, I'm Kyra. Hades' daughter." I think he's about to start a conversation, but then he notices my biscuit and quickly snatches it from my hand. "Hey!" I laugh. Paul just shrugs and stuffs the biscuit into his mouth, grinning. I grab some skittles and throw them at him. "Take that!" Next thing I know, we're both covered in candy, driving over some sort of magical bridge on our way to Auradon Prep. At least I already made a new friend.
The driver pulls over near a big bronze statue. It's supposed to be a beast, I think. Maybe the famous one from "Beauty and the Beast"? Paul gets out of the limo first, I follow. There are about ten people standing in front of us, but for now, only one person catches my attention. "Carlos!" I yell and run towards him. Carlos' face splits into a huge smile when he sees me. One second later, he lifts me up and spins me around in a tight hug. I laugh happily. "It's so great to see you, Kyra!" Carlos says as he puts me on the ground again. Someone behind us clears his throat. "Um, I take it you two already know each other?" I turn to see a blonde guy and a pretty girl with purple hair. Mal, I think. I blush a little, Carlos and the other guy just laugh. "I'm king Ben, this is my girlfriend Mal. Now, I'd like to introduce you to some people. You, too." The last part is directed to Paul, who's still standing near the car, looking a little sheepish. I quickly stand next to him again. "Sorry, Paul!" I whisper. He chuckles. "No problem." "Okay, well...", Ben says to get our attention, " This is Jay, Carlos, Evie, Audrey, Jane, Dough, Chad and Lonnie." My eyes widen. How am I supposed to remember all that so fast? "Come again?" I blurt out. Some people start to laugh. A guy I hadn't noticed before steps forward. "I'm Jay, Jafar's son. You may have heard of me back on the Isle." I snicker. "Yeah, I have, actually. Jay and his legendary shoplifting skills. You'll have to teach me that sometime." Jay throws his head back and laughs - that's when I notice he's really handsome. But a few people frown after hearing my comment and a girl dressed in pink shoots me a warning glare. "Or not..." I say to her. This is going to be fun...
