Allison's POV
I smiled as the warm water dropped down my body and relaxed my muscles.
I love showers.
For some reason, I never want to get in the shower, then after my shower, I don't want to get out. Is it just me or am I crazy?
Well I know I'm crazy...but...NEVER MIND.
After a few minutes of scrubbing and cleaning, a memory flashed through my mind...
FLASHBACK
I just watched my own dad die. What was left of him lay at my feet. My mother was already killed when the Rogues raided our house. Our pack has just been attacked by Rogues, and because of those things, my parents are dead.
My dad's throat was torn out and a pool of blood had formed by his head. His lifeless eyes were staring into mine, and his fur was sticky and dry from the blood. My wolf was howling in sorrow and anger inside of me for the death of my dad.
I could feel some sort of power pumping through my veins - something very powerful - urging me to get revenge. I turned around as hot, angry tears spilled out of my eyes. I could feel an angry scream wanting to make it's way out of me. I didn't hold it back. "NOOOOOOOOOO!" I shrieked. My scream echoed through the forest and I'm sure wolves for miles could hear that scream. As my scream went on, the ground started to rumble and a crack made it's way over to the murderer of my father. He has to die. The Rogue backed away slowly and as my anger built up, the crack in the ground picked up speed. When it reached the Rogue, the ground split in two and the Rogue fell through the earth with a whimper.
Everyone was now staring at me. The Rogues were looking at me in anger and shock for killing one of their own, and my pack members looked proud but mostly shocked, and maybe a little scared.
I didn't feel the power in me anymore. It's like it had gone away as fast as it came. I have no idea what that was, but I liked it. The feeling made me feel like I was the most powerful person on earth.
Suddenly I felt a hand in mine and I looked up to see my best friend for life, Ethan. "Whatever that was, it was awesome, but we need to get out of here." He said eagerly and I nodded as we bolted for the forest. Ethan's brown hair was pasted to his forehead and his green eyes looked confident. Even though our pack members are being killed one by one, he never seems to lose confidence. I love that about him.
We ran for what seemed like hours, but since we're werewolves, we can run a lot longer than that. Although we've only been running for a couple minutes. I was still crying and I didn't have the hope in myself to keep running, but Ethan kept me alongside with him so I was forced to keep going.
I heard a low growl, and I looked at Ethan, but he didn't look like he heard anything. I shook it off; thinking that the loss of my parents is probably giving me hallucinations.
I thought wrong when a Rogue sprinted from the bushes and snatched Ethan from my side. "Ethan!" I screamed. I tried to get the power that I felt before to come back, but I felt nothing. I was hopeless.
The Rogue had Ethan pinned to the ground with his paw digging into Ethan's throat. Since he's not old enough to shift yet, he couldn't do anything to save himself. I'm not old enough either, only the children of Alphas can shift at this age.
"Run!" Ethan choked out.
"I'm not leaving you!" I shouted back at him. I just lost my parents and I am NOT losing my best friend too! I could feel my heart breaking already and I'm not sure I can take anymore pain.
