"Hey miss, excuse me?"

Lumingon ako sa right side. Nasa loob ng isang color grey na Vios ang taong kumuha ng atensyon ko. But I think he's not just a guy. He's probably a god. Maybe Apollo, no, Thanatos.

I pointed myself. "Me?"

He smiled. And I guess I died for two seconds.  "Yes miss. You." He smiled again.

Grabe. This guy is probably one of the most beautiful faces I have ever saw. Like long thin nose, pink lips, white skinned and very black hair. For a guy, he's got a feminine features. And omg his smile. I cannot even mmhrrpp.

Okay keep calm now.

"What do you want? Uh.. I mean anong kailangan mo?" Seriously it's not the time para mag ingles ingles.

"I'm lost." Sabay kamot sa ilong. "At hindi na gumagana yung GPS ng kotse ko. Plus empty yung battery ng phone ko. So ganon."

His voice. Please gods of Olympus take this guy with you and make me a goddess too.

I bit my lower lip.  Kawawa ka naman kuya pogi. "Saan ka pala pupunta?"

"Coffee works."

"Ah straight ka lang sa daang ito tapos sa right side mo makikita." I smiled. "Bye."

Nagpatuloy na ako sa pag lalakad. Well alam ko namang hindi kami ang para sa isa't-isa. Kaya walang kwenta kapag tatagalan ko pa ang pakikiusap sa kanya. Better na ako ang unang umalis kaysa ako ang maiwan diba?

"Hey miss!"

My heart skipped a beat. What happened, why is that voice calling me? Or not me. I turned my back though. And yeah it's calling me.

"Ano?!" I screamed.

"Zipper mo bukas!" He screamed back and laughed.

Pinaandar na niya yung kotse habang ako naiwan sa ere na naka nga nga. Tinitigan ko lang ang kotse hanggang sa paliit ng paliit ito then I came back to my senses.

Tiningnan ko ang zipper ng pants, totoo nga. Naka flash ang super red laced panty ko. I was about to close it pero sira pala.

Aaaaaaaaargh. I'm screaming. Inside and out. "Fuck this bullshit!"

"Aiiiish."

"Shh ano ba Selene." React ng katabi ko.

"Sorry." I gritted my teeth. Back to reality baby. Enough day dreaming already.

Nakakainis lang kasi. Why can't I forget about it, it's been six months since that incident happened. At walang makaka relate sakin even my best friend Trish.   

Tumingin ako sa mga likuran at nakita siyang pinapaypayan ang sarili gamit ang kamay. Halatang bored rin. Which is a good thing kasi evidence pa na she's still my shitty friend.

"Girl prepare na daw."

"For what?"

She giggled. "Seriously? Are you really the class valedictorian? Oh well maybe it should be me. I'm much more deserving to become one than you. Hindi ka man lang marunong maki - "

"Shut up Corinne. Mas matalino ako sayo if that's what you're trying to imply. Kaya nga salutatorian ka lang diba? You can't do anything about it anymore so fuck off."

Tinawag na ng emcee ang pangalan ko. Now is the time to give my little speech. So I stand up at umakyat patungo sa stage. Binigyan ako ng microphone, humarap sa mga audience at

"Good day everyone. I do hope you are all feeling well even if it's 30 degrees Celsius."

The audience laughed. So I cleared my voice.

"So today is the day that we are all waiting for, we've waited for this day to come especially the parents of my fellow students who really waited patiently at their distinctive seats over there. So fellow completers you must be greatful your parents are here. While mine's not."

A series of commotion came in.

"But of course it won't stop me to give my speech. So lend me your ears because here it is."

I cleared my voice again.

“When I leave educational institutionalism, will I be successful or forever lost? I have no clue about what I want to do with my life. I don't know because I'm just a valedictorian, I don't have a social life. You guys are lucky to have group of friends while I only have one. Heeeeey! Shout out to Patrice Dalman who's already sleeping in her seat!"

People are laughing.

"You see, the only reason why I'm up here is  because I locked myself away from the real world and live on my own imaginary one. It's my choice, my decision. But one thing I can say to all of you who are listening to me is, thank you for listening. I'm very grateful right now because it's my first time to speak out, share my words to other people. I can't really imagine that there will be a lot of people whose gonna listen to me. And probably I'm lucky enough because I wasn't expecting this, this honor.  To the school staffs I love you all for accepting me in your institution. To the teachers, just keep teaching because teacher is the best job in the world. And to my classmates I'll miss you and I hope you'll miss me too. Society is wrong. Don’t do what I did and waste 4 years draining yourself. Don’t just survive . Do what you need to do for the now. Live."

I smile.

"Okay let me end here because I believe that in order to live we must not get bored and I don't want you to get bored just by listening to me. I cared guys."

People are clapping their hands. Good job Athena.
