The Alphas Mate

Chapter One

"Lets go to my room." he whispers in my ear, sending shivers through out my body.

he leads me to his bedroom I can't help but wonder how I got to be so lucky. The hottest guy in school being my mate, you could say it was unbelievable.

"I'm going to make you-"

"Thea Elizabeth Mountians! Wake up!"

I am brutally woken from my dream as my bestfriend, Taylor, hits me with a pillow.

Groaning, I pull my covers over my head, only to have them ripped off me.

"You have 15 minutes to get ready! I swear if you make us late to school agian-" I cut her off by jumping out of bed, beelining it for my bathroom.

"Why didn't you wake me up earlier!" I yell while starting the water for a quick shower.

As the water heats up I run to my closet to pick out an outfit for the day. Carefully I set the clothes on my bed before heading to the shower.

Taking a quick shower before hopping out and getting dressed, I study myself in the mirror.

I'm wearing a long sleeved blue and white fuzzy shirt, black leggings that cling to my short legs and my favorite white sneakers.  Running back to the bathroom I blow dry my long Light brown hair before brushing it and putting it up in a loose pony tail.

Deciding to go without makeup for the day, I grab my backpack from my dresser and head downstairs only to find Taylor sitting in the kitchen making bacon and eggs.

Turning around at the sound of my arrival she holds up an egg.

"Do you want dippy eggs or scrambled?" she asks. I only stare at her, "scrambled it is." she smiles and turns back to the stove.

Finding my voice, I speak.

"What on earth are you doing? We are going to be late for school!" I yell at her, earning me a laugh.

"Yeah. . . about that. We still have 45 minutes." I stare at her shocked before growling.

"So you're telling me-" she cut me off.

"That I lied about how much time you had before school starts? Yeah, sounds about right." she laughs agian as I hear snickering.

Ha! She got you! I grumble in response to my wolf. Awe, is wittle Thea upset?

"Yes I am actually! And I wouldn't be to smug, she fooled you as well." I smirk when silence greets me.

"Here, eat quickly. I want to stop by the cafe before school." Taylor sets a plate with bacon, scrambled eggs, and mini hash browns in front of me. I was about to question why before I remembered. Her Mate works there.

As I start to eat my breakfast I grin and poke Taylor.

"Your makeup is smudged." a look of horror appears on her face before she runs to the nearest mirror, only to come back with a scowl on her face.

"Sometimes I wonder why I put up with you." she mutters as I take my chance to laugh.

"You put up with me because you love me."

Stepping into school just as the first period bell rings, I look over at Taylor.

"See you at lunch, bitch." I tell her before taking off in a sprint. I didn't need to get detention for being late. I already have to suffer through one after school today.

I stepped into the classroom just as the late bell rang. For the first time in my life I am happy to be at math class.

I start to head to my desk before I notice the classroom is empty.

Its like that horror movie! You know, the one where the girl gets killed in the end?

Such helpful words from my wolf.

Distant screams fill my ears as I step into the hallway, a look of shock covers my features.

Soon loud bells erupt all around me, making my sensitive ears ring.
