It was midnight. I was awake, like always. It was different.. it hadn't rained in a month.. but this night had a very bad thunderstorm. I wanted to call my crush but he was most likely asleep, scratch that, my phone started to ring as I quickly picked it up. " 'French Fri ❤' is calling " I immediately picked up "Salut mon amour!" ("Hello my love!") I hear his slightly muffled voice say "Laffy you know I don't know French! What did you say?!" I said slightly mad that I didn't know French. "Well maybe if I can come over I'll tell you!" He sounded tired af. "Laffy your not coming over.. your tired and it's raining really hard" "But.. I'm already on my way!" The sound of a car door made its way through the phone "Marie-Joseph Paul Yves Roch Gilbert du Motier, Marquis de Lafayette, you are not!" That was the only thing I could pronounce, his full name. Just hang on I'm pulling up!- *He hangs up*" I sigh and remember that my front door is unlocked so I text him that then I sat up cuddling my stuffed pony. He pulls out chocolate, Graham crackers, marshmallows, and some wooden sticks. Some time later we made two plate fulls of s'mores. He grabbed one "Hey (Y/N)?" "Yea?" "je t'aime tellement" "I don't understand you!" "I love you so much" He leaned close and kissed me, I kissed back in shock. "(Y/N) will you be my girlfriend?" He asked stuffing a s'more in his mouth "Yes" I replyed stuffing one in my mouth
