Rejected Twice

Fate is Not in My Favour.

Mia's pov:

It all started on Blakes 16th birthday, A.K.A a wolfs age to actually shift and to find the person they were meant to spend the rest of their lives with. 

Let's start with a little backstory on me before we head into all the drama.

They called me the white wolf but that was many years ago...on a beautiful summer day. 

I was in the comfort of my bed, with the warmth of my blankets and the squishyness of my pillow.  Then my alarm went off ruining my peaceful slumber. 

Beep

Beep

BEEP

My eyes slowly opened and I looked at the clock.  It read 12:00pm.

OH SHIT!!!

The wolf searching ceremony was in a hour! I sprung up out of my bed and sprinted into my walk in closet and grabbed some black leggings, white t-shirt and a plaid black and white shirt that I tied around my waist.  To top it all off I added some pure white high tops.  I walked over to my snap back section on my wall.  I chose the a sliver snap back that had LA written across the front in big gold letters.  What I'm really feeling this colour combo today don't judge. 

Next stop... my bathroom! I grabbed my big black rimmed glasses which highlighted my stormy grey eyes.  Due to me being 5'4 I had to stand on my tippy toes in order to catch a glimpse of myself in my magnifying mirror.  The struggles of short girl problems. 

I used white eyeshadow in the corner of my eye fading into black out towards the other corner of my lid.  It was a very vibrant smoky eye if I do say so myself.  My eyes were my best feature and they popped out due to the shadow.  I put some mascara on and a generous amount of foundation.  My skin never broke out so I didn't need much.  My attention was drawn to my phone where the screen flashed signalling I got a text. 

From Max (my brother)

M: where are u M!! The ceremony starts in like 10 min. So get your ass over here!

I sent a quick "on my way" and placed my phone in my legging pocket.  I decided to take the shortcut to the pack house since I had absolutely no time, which also meant I had to jump out of the window.  My arms pushed the glass up as I stood on my window bench to swing my feet over.  It was a 2 story drop.  Nothing to a werewolf.  We're used to jumping around 5 stories so pffft I got this.

I jumped and did I flip mid air and landed gracefully on my feet with my hand on the soil supporting my weight.  I started sprinting by using my wolf speed.  My birthday was a couple months ago so I could shift if I wanted to but I didn't want to ruin my outfit.  I found my seat in the many rows as I was greeted by my best friend Lexi.  She was a little taller than me 5'6 and had silver hair while mine was black, and striking green eyes.  I waved to her as I made my way over to my seat. 

"Hey girl! Where have you been? Ooooo cute outfit how long did it take you?"

"Not long at all I just slept in a bit so that's why I'm late.  Did I miss anything with oh his douchyness Blake?"

" Nope the ceremony is about to start so let's see who is doomed to be destined with him shall we?"
Lexi grinned as she took my hand.  She was the bestest friend a girl could ask for and I've known her my entire life. 

I was lost in my thoughts and surly cut out of them as the alpha made his way into the stage to start the ceremony. 

"Good morning everyone! I hope you are all ready to welcome the alpha to be onto the stage! Give it up for Blake!!"

A bunch of cheers erupted as me and Lexi groaned in annoyance slowly clapping.  There was one group that everyone knew as the 'sluts' of the pack that were jumping up and down screaming like they had just met their favourite celebrity.  This only irritated me more that they had almost no clothing on and they were covered in fake tan.  Their leader who is known as Maddison was wearing a very tight sports bra to try and push up her boobs and white short shorts that barely covered anything.  Her minions Amy and Jessica were dressed the same only one had a blue sports bra on and the other green.  The sight of them made me gag.  Like can you have a little self respect for yourself?

I directed my attention to the front as Blake made his way onto the stage. This only encouraged all the sluts to pull down their shirts revealing more cleavage just to get his attention.  I couldn't resist the urge to roll my eyes, so I did.  Lexi and I both groaned annoyed at the sight and is just wanting this shit show to be over so we can go back to my house and raid my very stuffed fridge filled with delicious food.  The thought of the last slice of cheese cake from my birthday made me even more hungry.  Hey I didn't have the chance to eat breakfast. Sue me for being hungry and loving food so much. 

Blake shifted into his alpha sized black wolf with bright gold eyes and sniffed the air.  Taking a huge wift of all our scents.  I crossed my arms on my chest and looked around.  I saw maddie and her friends crossing their fingers hoping that they were his mate.  Pfft as if.  I looked back at the front and my eyes connected with his gold ones.  I felt a little spark igniting a fire behind my eyes.  No this can't be happening.  My wolf Isla started shuffling around as my subconscious started screaming.

"ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!"
